"Ugh... Yoko... Yoko... I-I-I'm s-sinking...!!" Jack stuttered, knowing she couldn't hear him. He couldn't wait, he had to do... SOMETHING. "C'mon... gotta be... somethin'... worth looking at..." he shivered, his limbs shaky as he took out his light and looked around!

"Open bay doors!" She glanced down the wall below her, and saw that the large blast door they seen earlier was there! Well... the other end of it anyway! "Yes, that has to be it!" Yoko screamed, and squated down, and with some effort, began pushing the lever upward!

Jack was breaking through the glass container as the water began to flow past his shoulders! Deep breath time! He thought, gasping, then inhaled as much air as he could as the water flowed over his head! His eyes stung from mix of cold and chemicals in the water, again, hoping he wasn't irradiated now. He scanned his metal flashlight over the handle and began tugging on it. It wasn't budging! Oh for Chrissake!!! Jack mentally screamed, bubbles of air escaping his mouth as he found himself going vertical, using his feet to press against the wall as he tried to shove the lever up! C'mon... C'mon...!!

He could already hear something audibly moving, something groaning, rotating gears? Then the room shook a little! Jack swam as best he could upward, and found treading water with a loaded AR-15 A2 was... hard, not to mention the weighed down hip bag he wore, the vest, heavy work hoodie, fatigues, combat boots... He managed to reach the surface, gasping! "S-sh...urk!" he gurgled, finding hard to tread water at all! Shit, gotta grab air and drain this fucker, NOW! He panicked, and with one desperate lunge up and taking as much air his mouth could hold in a gasp, Jack dove back down!

He continued, now leaning over the Lever, his light held between his left arm and armpit, his body vertical, facing down on the lever, his hair like seaweed as it floats amid the horrid chemical and water mixture, both hands on the lever, his boots heel to toe pressed against the surface of the wall. Gotta... pull... UP!

Jack closed his eyes, straining to pry the lever upward, knowing if he didn't get it up... he was going to die.

Jack closed his eyes, straining to pry the lever upward, knowing if he didn't get it up... he was going to die.

As the pair both slowly pushed their respective levers into place, a hidden camera watched Yoko's efforts with further interest. Dr. James Issac Ferral watched from his control room in the S.P.I.R.E., smirking as the doors began to groan open. With a subtle flick of his wrist, he overrides the power output to the hidden gears and belts! This forces the machines hidden in the walls to work faster, beyond the safety protocols, and instead of a slow, safe release of pressure and water, the doors are forced wide open quickly!

Pods, Containers, hell bit of the catwalk and its railings yanked free from the sudden change of pressure, and Jack was amid the debris pulled away with the tidal wave of the stabilization gel and water mix that were used to nurture B.O.W. cultivation and growth. He was helpless, carried off by the undertow, his body a helpless ship amid a swirling storm as he was forced down into the waterways! Like the hunter before him, Jack was now being carried off by the rapids of the drainage tunnels, Yoko forced to watch as he bobbed above the torrent!

Jack resisted the cold embrace of death, of drowning like a rat, and to suffer the fate of other Jacks who froze to death! He continued to pull up on the lever, and soon it gave way! He nearly lost most of his air from the lever suddenly losing all tension! Then... there was a new sound. A painfully low mechanical noise travelled through the volume of water, assaulting Jack's ears as it quickly wound up to a high pitched whine! Then a loud metallic BOOM, and then... everything. EVERYTHING WAS MOVING!

Jack panicked, not the best swimmer beforehand, he could literally do nothing but be pulled by the strong current which sucked him, along with everything not nailed down- some of which HAD been but had long rusted away, out the now completely wide-open blast bay doors! Jack's head broke the surface once, a glimpse of Yoko above him, he'd not forget the shape of that perfect butt ever! He padaled up, gasping her name: "Yoko-!" but would garble water, tumble backward, roll in the rapids as he was pushed through the waterway's rapids! The flow of water and the new volume which had been added, somewhat aided in Jack's survival as drop offs became less shallow and he evaded dangerous debris as he was flung about in a blinding, choking, underwater cyclone that continued to push him further away from Yoko...!
