U369 was rolling his small tongue around Yoko's face when the painful, final bullet from her revolver slammed into its skull! Gasping, it released Yoko unintentionally, swinging her across the room as it clawed at its bleeding head! It was built slightly more sturdier than the other Gamma the pair had taken out, and thus was still operational, if not a bit pissed off! Forcing her into a corner, he swung both his claws at her, hoping to grab hold of her once more!

Yoko gasped, before being flung into the wall, backing into the corner by the large, flailing monster! It was darker, larger somewhat than the ones she killed, and a single well placed, and rather lucky round wasn't enough to subdue it it seemed! Saliva ran down her chin, mattered her hair, and she was distracted momentarily by the flashing yellow hazard lights, and the sound of rushing water being poured into the other room! "Shit.. JACK!" She spat, then gasped as the beast lunged at her! She swiftly evaded its large claw, taking a nearby chair and jammed it into its other as it was coming forwards before she ducked under its arm to get back to the door! "Shit, shit shit!!" She spat, taking her revolver and aiming it- pulling the trigger- CLICK!

"(Fuck!)" she spat, remembering she only had five shots, a few of these officer's bullets were pretty lucky! She ejected the weapon like she was told, pushing the button forward, letting the crane pop out to the left, she tipped the barrel up and kept her eyes on the beast as it struggled with the chair and used the second speed loader she had after the five spent casings fell upon the floor of the control room in a small metallic clatter!



"JACK! HELP!" Yoko shrieked! She swung the cylinder back into place, pushing into alignment with the frame without realizing that was what she did, lifting the small .38 Special and aimed it with both hands at the monster's back- firing twice!

"Yoko...?" He called out, cautiously. I don't like how quiet she's acting... He thought to himself, when he heard the loud gunshot, the screams for help, could see flashes of movement within the control room! "Yoko?!" He exclaimed, feeling alaremed, Jack looked around, hearing two more gunshots as he turned his attention to the sudden spray of water and fluids from overhead shower heads!



"Oh for fuck sake! Can't anything just WORK down here?!" Jack complained, flashing his light around, looking for something he could use to get himself up again. He watched as the watery substance which fell from the ceiling began to fill up the channel beneath his feet, under the flooring. "Oh shit...!" he realized the room was going to flood! In the best case scenario, this stuff wasn't toxic... and he'd be able to reach the catwalk by wading and waiting, but he didn't have the time to wait! "Shit, shit... gotta be something I can use...!" He spat, as he looked for something of use, searching twice as hard, before looking at the containers... maybe he could climb them? There was a chance...

He tried to climb one, just to be sure he could pull himself up onto its lid as the room got damper and cooler, while Yoko continued to scream for help! "I'm comin' Yoko!" He called out, as he attempted to climb!

Jack slid off the container, wincing. "Shit...! Not that way..." he grumbled, looking around the room as gallons upon gallons of greenish blue fluid sprayed down from the shower heads above! He didn't like the oily feel of it as he passed underneath one, but the chunks of Gamma and blood washed out of his clothes as he did. He then saw the crate from before, the one he tried to push, but couldn't and saw one of the gamma containers had fallen beside that. "That could work!" He spat, running to it, and began climbing up, climbing from the stainless steel crate to the container of a Gamma, pulling himself up onto its lid, as he looked for his next accessible path to take!

The first shot struck the BOW's right shoulder, the second plinked off its dorsal spines. The monster slowly lumbered to face the woman, gasping out loudly with a guttural hiss! It slobbered as it slapped the floor with its webbed claws, leaping up before forcing its weight with both claws to slap the impertinent woman, and hopefully grasp her once more!

Yoko, looked through the window to see Jack atop one of the containers holding these ferocious frog like beasts! These... 'Gammas' as they were so labeled! Jack felt the conveyor shift suddenly! "W-woaah...!" He grumbled, holding onto the container tightly as it began to rise up and lift him! He turned to the control room's windows, and could see Yoko fighting off a larger, uglier 'Gamma'. "Shit, YOKO!" he screamed, the container shaking under him, as he looked at the railing in the distance. I could make it... if I time it right... oh, but considering my number of failures up to this point... should I even try? He thought, gulping as he began to pull himself up onto the wobbling container. All around him, the water level continued to rise! Now the tanks were half submerged due to the pouring fluid filling the room! Shit, must be coming from that underground river we saw upstairs...! Fuck, stop worrying about that, are you gonna do this or not, Cavanaugh?! He asked himself, before fighting the urge not to. "HRAHH!!" He leapt from the container, aiming for the catwalk...!

He was on the fabled catwalk now, and he rose to his feet, noting the water was now past most of the stationary container pods below him, and would soon be pushing up to the catwalk's flooring! "Shit man, why can't things just work around here?!" he asked himself again, pushing himself to confront the monster and save Yoko! "Yoko! I'm coming!" He exclaimed as a bullet pierced the doorway and almost flew into his face! "JESUS!" He ducked. "YOKO!! HOLD YOUR FIRE! I'M ON YOUR SIDE!" He spat, wide eyed, pale as a ghost! He took a moment to gather himself, and then rushed through the door, kicking the dead body of the gamma on the walkway into the water in front of the door before pulling it open-

Before the sound of Jack screaming becoming muffled as she turned her head, and saw the windows were now covered by durasteel shutters and she saw a light on the console which read: PRESSURE STABILIZATION ACTIVE

U369 was surprised to be completely overtaken by the small woman! She managed to push him straight through the doorway leading into the treatment plant waterways, and over a railing! It let out a croak of defiant shock before splashing into the water! Still trapped by the devious contraption known as a 'chair' the creature splashed furiously as the strong current pushed it down into the labrynth of tunnels and passages that lead to either the treatment plant or the sewers...

It let out a croak of defiant shock before splashing into the water! Still trapped by the devious contraption known as a 'chair' the creature splashed furiously as the strong current pushed it down into the labrynth of tunnels and passages that lead to either the treatment plant or the sewers...
