East Hall & Night Duty Room (Hallway leading to the Basement)
A reverse 'C' shaped hall with shutter walls like the West Hall/'L' Shaped Corridor on the west wing. This hall leads to both the departments Night Duty Room and the Stairwell to the basement. This hallway leads to the Night-Duty room, East Offices and B1F East Hall. The Night-Duty Room has an etching of a Club upon its surface.
_____
Night-Duty Room
This room is composed of a desk and some lockers with many items scattered around the room, and a pair of bunk beds in the back including a sink. Night-Duty is usually comprised of two to four officers, and on bad weeks one. Officers tasked with night duty generally had to spend the graveyard shift patrolling the halls of the station, basement to roof and be ready to answer calls and act as dispatch. Most often, officers will sleep here till they are called on to roll out and hit the streets. Lieutenant Damian Handy was frequently put on Night-Duty, and was more accustomed to these tiny beds than the one in his apartment. He has a .50 AE Desert Eagle he customized on the bedstand in this room for added security due to the tensions of the grisly cannibal murders...

She passed through the doorway, pausing in the middle of the hall to look at the wallpaper and floor tiles. "...I think the 60's are missing their wallpaper." She says with a dry tone. She continued to walk, cooperating with the officer when she heard him attempting to strike up conversation, and half turned to face him with a raised brow. "Well, lets just say... she used some choice, mean words... thus I reacted in turn." She replied, before pausing, backing up into him, her head leaning back on his left shoulder, her face mischievous with heavy lidded eyes and a curious smirk. "Wanna tell me about yourself? From your appearance, I'd say you just got on shift; you have a long twelve hours in a dark, lonely station ahead of you, no?" she hummed, leaning against him more incessantly.

Ben lets out a slight chuckle at the comment about the wallpaper "Ah i see well i won't ask anymore of the incident" Ben suddenly came to a halt as Kiko had walked backwards into him her head now leaning back on his left shoulder. Ben looks dead ahead his tone turning quite bland "Yep started at six" He then gently pushes Kiko away with his left hand "Yep twelve hours, but i have ways to kill time none of which include you" Ben motions Kiko to keep walking "Come on keep going, before i decide to extend your stay here"

Kiko continued to smirk playfully till he pushed her lightly. "Oh, you're no fun~" She chuckled teasingly, before continuing forward. "I was only playing, I mean you're cute for a cop, so can't blame a gal for having some fun~" She added, being careful on the stairwell down. "Now look whose the cranky pants~" She giggled, sticking her tongue out at him.

September 24th... (current time as this scene: https://recorporatebattles.forumotion.com/t37-front-yard-and-front-gates#525)
________
Scott was still sleeping in. He was on shift with Sargent Ben Winters, another officer who was younger than him but outranked him, but unlike Lieutenant Handy was someone he didn't resent. He paired well with the former British constable, who moved to the States apparently to be closer with his girlfriend Rachel. It must have been an odd transfer request, but he managed it. Like his fellow officers, he often called the kid 'Big Ben' which was a playful nickname, but like stated, Scott didn't mind Ben. Lieutenant Handy however... there was some personal reasons. None of it mattered to Scott right now though, who was lost in a dreamland where he was in a physical relationship with some sort of half-fox, mostly woman, woman. It was such a disconnect from his reality, he had gone into a deep sleep, he brushed his partner, Officer Cameron Clarke, off when the latter attempted to rise him from his slumber. Cam had given up, and gone off to see to retrieving Samantha Kamura; Sam was a hottie indeed! A half Japanese police officer from Boston, Scott found her very attractive from her Bostonian accent, her cute Asian appearance, her confidence and skills from the range to her patrol bike! Only that one of his favorite authors, Khristian Smith, was her boyfriend. Raccoon was a rather interesting hub of various faces and personalities, and Scott was a lifelong resident.
He rolled onto his side, face against the cold, painted brick wall on the lower bunk. He was dead to the world, till he heard the low humming sound that gradually got louder. At first he thought it was the playful dream kitsune humming into his left ear as she pulls him into her desirable grasp, when the humming sound became a roar...!
His eyes slowly blinked open, feeling the vibrations from his dream world enter his real world. His leg kicking off a manga he found in one of the lockers off the edge of the bed as the room rattled. "Huh... wha?" He speaks lethargically, wiping his eyes with his palms as the room continued to vibrate and rumble!
(source of the vibrations and rumbling)
He yawned, remembering the helipad wasn't too far from where he sat, now that his legs were hanging off the bed. "Ugh... damn SWAT guys...." He yawned, slipping on his patrol boots which were beneath him, lacing them tight before he pulled himself out of the bed. He grabbed his blue uniform top which was draped over the edge of a nearby chair, and began to haphazardly put it on, walking over to the nearby sink to splash his face with water. He stared at himself for a moment, the unbuttoned police shirt hanging from his broad shoulders, his white tank beneath slightly wrinkled from his rolling about, and his somewhat dead looking eyes made him look more bum than police man. "Ugh... wasn't the SWAT training scheduled for tomorrow?" He asked himself, yawning again. He turns the sink on, reaching for the rushing water when he hears someone puking their guts out in the hall behind him; the helicopter's thrumming had died away and vanished. He blinked, leaving the water running as he tucks his shirt behind his pants and begins to button up. His police belt was in one of the lockers around the corner, which he grabbed when he got close to it. He didn't want Marvin or Irons bitching at him, so he opened the locker and slips the black leather holster and belt on, grabbing his issued VP-70 from the top shelf and slipped it into the empty holster; all the while the retching sound continued outside the Nightwatchman room. "Ugh, who the hell's sick today?" he asked out loud, clipping his radio handset to his chest before heading to the door with the Club shape engraved on the door's green artsy surface.
He entered the C shaped hall, turning to see Fred and Jean, with the latter puking his guts out a hastily opened window. "Hey guys, what's going on? Bad gas station sushi...?" He yawned, stepping closer when his eyes soon fell upon an upturned stretcher. He paused, and like a ice cold splash of water to the face, looked on with silent horror at the sight of a torn apart human corpse! "Jesus!" He gasped, feeling every hair on his body stand on end. The corpse was a black male, wearing the tattered remnants of an Arklay County Sheriff uniform- remembering how he borrowed one of the uniforms last Halloween for a party:
He then noticed the tag. "Oh God... what happened to Deputy Wheeler?!" He half shrieked! There was nothing left of his insides, his belly was torn open, his neck and face a mix of gore and exposed bone! Bite marks pocketed his entire body, and a single eye with a vacant gaze fell upon Walsh as he looked on. He was reminded of the cannibal murders, which he thought had been put to rest since the Mansion fluke done by Wesker's and Marini's S.T.A.R.S. unit. He glanced back to Fred and Jean, the latter was recovering somewhat as they turned towards Scott with pallid faces.

Re: East Hall & Night Duty Room (Hallway leading to the Basement)
Fred turned to face Scott, as Jean wiped his mouth with his forearm. "The Senior Deputy was killed...no, eaten alive by those crazy civies out front." Fred replied, looking ill, but was better composed than Jean, who was always a bit more sheepish than other officers, but less so than Harry. Jean wiped his mouth again and went back to the task of flipping the stretcher up on its wheels again, then with Fred's assistance, hauled the torn apart Senior Deputy back onto the stretcher. Jean then pointed to Mike's corpse, a sheet over his body. "They got Mike as well..." He says with a disheartened tone. "They're like... zombies man, no joke. What ever happened to those people... they ain't normal anymore. Its like they got rabies or something." He says, covering Wheeler again. "Hey... mind helping us bringing these guys to the Morgue? We could use the help. We don't dare going around the back way, Cahill and the others are clearing out the front as we speak, its... fucking insane out there dude!" Jean cried.

Scott couldn't believe what they were telling him. Was it some sort of cruel, stupid joke?! And even Mike was a casualty?! He held the banister for the stairwell to his left for support. "Wait... no way this... is this some sort of sick joke?" He asked, feeling heavy as he tried to digest the gore in front of him. But looking at his coworkers, his fellow comrades... he couldn't see them making such an elaborate and for a lack of a better term, fucking twisted joke just to rustle his jimmies. He cupped his face with his other hand, breathing slowly, before continuing. "W-what is it? Whats going on out there? Is it an outbreak, like rabies or beaver fever or some shit like that?" He asked, turning to them briskly. He saw Mike's stretcher, the blood seeping through the sheet...
I'm still asleep... I'm sleeping! He thought, slapping his face hard. "I'm not here, its a dream... this is a fucked up dream..." he smacked his face once more, feeling the singeing pain as he shuts his eyes tight... but he felt Fred's hand fall upon his shoulder, his eyes blinking open, back into the concerned look of his fellow policemen. "Oh... God..." he sighed, leaning over the banister now, light headed and in slight shock. "...how bad is it?" He asked again, this time with a more serious tone.

((Thanks dude ))
Fred removed his hand from Scott's shoulder and sighed. "We don't know how it started, or what it is. Our radios are jamming, phone lines are dead, we're lucky we have power, but knowing this crap heap I doubt it'll last." Fred continued. "Captain Cahill has assumed leadership for the moment, as we don't have a clue where the Chief is. Cameron went out to grab Kamura from the boonies, Sargent Winters left for Jack Street to get Rachel and Lieutenant Handy, but he hasn't come back yet." He continued, informing him of the situation. "Helen's also dead... the guys out front are attempting to clear those freaks surrounding the gate, but I don't think there's anything left to recover from her..." He says with a distant stare, his features cold. He blinks and returns his gaze to Scott. "We need every available officer we can, but its hard with the radio black out. However, I overheard Cahill saying something about using the S.T.A.R.S. radio equipment and the Raccoon University Radio Tower as a beacon of sorts. If it works, we should have local radio and access to our coms again." he explained further.

The news didn't sit as well with him as he thought. Helen was gone too now. He felt guilt for not being awake for Cam, who went out for Sam. Big Ben was also missing, out to get a hold of Handy and his girl. Radios and phones out, the Chief was missing, and there are people eating each other outside the station! He could hear the pops of small arms fire now, and this further confirmed their stories. "I slept in bliss... only to wake up... in a nightmare..." He says slowly, his eyes wide with terror, his hand slowly peeling away from his face. He grabbed the banister with both hands, breathing long, drawn out breaths. Then he squeezed the oaken banister tightly and his skin goes several shades paler. "My Dad's at the hospital on day shift!" His voice cracked, panic running through him. He turns to Fred and Jean and the bodies they were attempting to bring down into the basement. "With a blackout I can't reach him, I ha-have to go out there. I need to warn him, the guy's nearly in his sixties!" He explained, swinging his legs over the banister, his boots clicking upon the stone steps leading down into the tight corridors of the basement below. "S-sorry, you both know how it is!" He poorly apologized as he sprints down the steps, almost tripping before he reached the bottom, hooked a left and into the basement proper!
