Night Reception/Security Room
Linked to the 1F Passage, the Night Reception is where the night duty security guards conduct their business, checking monitors and ultimately the control of the building's multiple security shutters. Security within the Hospital is generally lightly armed, and its expected the security guards bring their weapon to work with them holstered. The RPD has even stored a few Beretta 92's in the security room in case of an emergency.

Upon unlocking the door and entering, Scott realized that the room wasn't what he thought it was. There were only two monitors, and they were aimed at the shutters for the lobby. The shutter control to override the manual manipulation of the shutters was beneath the monitors. "Dammit..." Scott groaned. He was hoping that his life would get easier and he'd have full access of the building's security. Upon inspection though, he did read that there was a monitor room on the first basement, and it was supposed to be Bob's and Mark's turn for monitor duty, while his father was to be in charge of manning this room, and a guy named Frank did patrolling with George and Mickey. Nothing substantial otherwise. Upon looking around however, he did find 9mm ammunition and a couple Beretta 92Fs, the same gun the station was transitioning to and used by SWAT if not with their 1911s. He tucked the pair of 92's behind his belt, and loaded up on ammunition. Unfortunately, there were no magazines for his VP70, nor any bigger weapons... but it made sense. It was a hospital, not Fort Knox.
Still got a shotgun in the squad car... but I'm not going out there with all those things crawling about. I hate to say it, but if there was more people with me, then yeah... it make it easier to grab. He thought with a grimace.
While sliding rounds into his partially spent mag, he tried to rouse anyone he could with his radio. "Officer Walsh to any available officers, come in. I repeat this is Officer Walsh, Raccoon General is a shit show, need backup. This is officer.... dammit, can someone out there pick up?" He sighed, losing professionalism through a constant backlash of static. He took a seat in the office chair for a moment, to gather his senses. He could head down to the basement... somehow, and check the monitors. He pulls the drawer of the desk open, collecting another box of 9x19mm bullets and a map of the building, spreading it out and checked it over casually as the moans of the living dead continued to pound into his skull. "Crap... can only access via the elevator? How did city planning approve this shit hole? How do you move patients who cant walk to any of the floors? What if theres a fire? A zombie outbreak and people are trapped on the lower floors?!" He sighed, folding the paper angrily before tucking it away. He needed to get going, he couldn't just sit around.
He heads back into the first floor passage, and glances up the stairwell to the second floor. "Welp," he raised his gun again. "Gotta do this the old fashioned way... they better promote me for this..." he chuckled to his lame joke, and began his ascension of the stairwell.

Mina rushed into the Night Watch room, closing the door behind! The door continued to pound and rattle however, the moans of the living dead on the otherside, and Mina was scared out of her whits! Dammit, I really blew it all to hell! She thought, and backed further into the security room. Looking around, she found only loose 9mm bullets and no handguns, probably taken already by others running for their lives in the building. She did find a nightstick however, and after trying to lift one of the security shutters blocking an exit to the outside via a window... she clutched onto the weapon for dear life as she hid under the nearby desk, listening to the zombies dreadful moans and their incessant pounding on the door...!

It was a blur for Scott too. He was in full view of the creature, then suddenly with freakish strength, it tossed him and the vehicle aside like a tin can! "AAHHH!" Scott screamed, glass breaking, holding for dear life without his seatbelt, body flipping sideways his legs locked onto the driver's seat for some sort of hold as the world flipped around and shards of glass flew about! He heard the siren flip on, but was silenced as the megaphone was crushed and the top mounted flashers were crushed! He flipped upside down, losing his strained grip, hitting the ceiling of the sedan before the front bumper smashed into the solid structure of the Hospital, only shaking the building and breaking glass windows!
