Ed and Rafe appeared at the top of the ramp leading back up to the entrance of the hospital, and as soon as the tall man saw what the problem was. His eyes lit up in red once again.



"Just mow many of these things did they make." he said as he strode towards the creature, drawing his knives. He then seemed to notice that it's abdomen had swollen grotesquely. And realized something. "Ah damn it! The creature has eaten one of them already!" and with that he rushed in, low and fast. He had to take out it's mobility first, just like the last one, by tearing at the tendons in it's limbs, so he aimed for the tendons at the ankles and the back if the knee joints.

"Aim for the limbs, upper torso and head! Avoid the center mass, or you'll kill whomever is in there!" he called out as he swung his blades in a sweep.

Rafe followed Ed out into the street, into the parkinglot, and ground his boots as he saw the creature...




"The fucking hell is that thing?!" He spat, cigarette dropping from his mouth as he shouldered the rifle. Before pulling the trigger, he shot a glance to Ed, hearing him say something about one of their own... inside it. He checked the creature's girth, and saw it was wiggling. Ah man, that ain't right... He thought, before aiming again. "Just don't get shot!" he screamed to Ed as he began to take burst shots at the creature. He didn't have the number of magazines required to go full out automatic on him, and even so such wanton gunfire could indeed pierce the creature's stomach and hit whoever it is within!

He looked around... and couldn't see Jane, Scotty or Donna which made him worried...

She then ran to the bat, and yanked it out- the tire hissing as the air was released. "Still hungry? Then c'mere plenty of meat on me!" she taunted, flaunting her large breasts and side stepped, shaking her hips.

Scott was stunned, but slowly rolled to face her, reaching for her, pulling at her gown to keep her from running off. "H-Hey... don't try and impress people by dying, thats what you told me...!" He coughed, as she taunted the beast. He was still dizzy and injured from the car wreck, not to mention being thrown into the air by the creepy monster's tongue... He stumbled onto his legs, hunkered over, trying not to vomit up his light breakfast he had... gun still in hand, he turns it to the frog thing's body when he saw Rafe and the big guy again! The big guy showed no fear while Rafe took shots at it with the AR. He side stepped, stumbling to Jane to keep her out of the line of fire! "We need to keep our heads down!"

Carrie came around the corner, 92F in hand, when she saw the creature she had studied attacking what was apparently left of the group. She saw the officer was injured, Mei-Lin was taunting it, showing a different personality than she would have before, and there were at least two less people accounted for as she could hear Kali and that nurse screaming. She also saw a red head and Ed attacking the creature, Carrie rolling into cover as the assault rifle from Ed's m4 crackled to life... but she didn't see any bullets whizz by her so whoever was holding the weapon knew how to handle automatics. Another asset to the group... but potentially a future problem... hmm. She thought, before pulling herself out of cover.

The giant frog monster was definitely a mutant variant of the Gamma MA124 series, now that it was moving but she couldn't tell what the hell happened to it! Dammit... must be one of Ferral's pet projects... fucking bastard's a menace! She thought, aiming her gun with both hands, walking past Scott and Mei-Lin. "Stand down, we got this!" She told the ill-equipped pair, firing the 9mm at the creature as she approached. The 9mm cracking with the beat of the automatic fire, the sounds would probably draw in more zombies, but it was an unfortunate side effect and they'd probably were already coming anyway thanks to the crashed Squad Car?! It flipped a car? How strong can this thing be?! She asked herself, but kept firing her pistol!

The creature continued its approach on the two women, even as they uselessly threw things at the specimen in an attempt to slow it down. The creature drew its prehensile, forked tongue shot it out and wrapped around Kali Kawena, and began pulling her into the gaping, dripping maw to join Reiko's gruesome fate...

The shotgun hit it first, causing it to whip its head (with Kawena) towards the direction of Jane Doe. The creature hissed, about to engulf Kali and resume chase to the taunting Jane Doe when it felt blades upon its body. A tall man, called Ed by his friend inside its stomach, began attacking him, soon after automatic fire in controlled bursts were being fired into its face, which it blocked the small arms fire with its forearm. Ed would find that its flesh was tougher than the previous specimen's he's faced!

Then Carrie returned, opening fire with her handgun despite the swimcoach being flaunted about with its tongue. In a desperate act to return to its original purpose, the beast leapt high, then threw Kali into the aggressive Edgar! Upon landing on top of the damaged ambulance which Jane was close to (and had drawn the digesting Reiko's bat), the car made a deep impression given its immense size and weight, and leered down at the pair (Scott and Jane). Snarling, and with Carrie still focusing her handgun fire upon him, drew its tongue down upon one of the pair below, before drawing them up by their neck into its cavernous maw!

Scott watched the freak of nature jumping about, the woman with nice ass and brown leather jacket soon appearing and aiding with Rafe and the tall strongman from hell, who was like a living blender the way he swung his body around with the blades! However, one of the women, whom he had not seen, was grabbed by the beast, then thrown into the tall man before it leapt above them. "Jane, go!" He spat, pushing the woman aside, gun raised and firing what he had in the mag as the tongue cut off his scream of disgust and surprise!

Choking, he was drawn up by his neck into the maw, legs twitching outside, his gun still firing inside the mouth, ears ringing as the enclosed space flashed brightly around him! "KEEP SHOOTING!!" He screamed, though unsure if anyone could hear him as he fought tooth and nail ! His handgun soon went dry...

Kali screamed as she was disarmed and about to be eaten, before the intervention committee finally arrived! She was dizzy, thrashed about by the creature's grotesque tongue, screaming as gunfire and bullets whizzed past her! However, she was soon thrown into a solid wall of a man, cringing as she hit him!

Jane was again, pushed someone sacrificing themselves for her yet again-

-"--you have to get out of here!" Screamed a man in a gasmask, before the massive claw dug through his chest, if he hadn't pushed her, she would have been the one shish kebab-ed...

-Jane shook her head and glanced up from her sitting position. "Scott, no!" She cried out, eyes wide as he was drawn into the predator's mouth, and was unable to do anything about it again! She stood up, slamming the bat on the side of the Ambulance. "Let'em go, come after me you slimy piece of shit!" She spat, throwing the bat up at the creature, directly to its face!

Reiko was far from digesting... but it didn't help the creature's acidic bile was beginning to increase and was stinging her expose flesh, her outfit again, seemed to have a resistant effect for it:



"Ugh..." she moaned, stretching the sticky substance away from her face, kicking the creature hard! The belly was bouncing about though, and she was being forced against the thin stomach lining here and there, the sound of muffled shouting and gunfire increased... then she was hearing that officer's voice, pained... above her.

"KEEP SHOOTING!!" Followed by several loud gunshots that rang in her ears!

She had an epiphany that moment, remembering she still had guns! She yanked out the Browning High Power from her apron, and the .44 from the holster hidden under it, cocking both hammers back with her thumbs and flicking off the safety for the semi-automatic, she began to fire the weapons as well! She grits her teeth, firing wildly, hoping she wasn't going to hit anyone outside as the revolver recoiled in her right arm and the Browning barely jerked in the other! I wonder if Officer Scott is going to be joining me... I hope for his sake he doesn't... She thought, unsure if she was going to make it out of here alive... she really wished she picked up a knife or blade herself now in hindsight. But regardless of her future, she continued to fire till both guns ran empty and her ears pounded and head ached from the echoing blasts from a 9mm and .44 Magnum!

During the hostage moment, Rafe withdrew his firepower, pulling the gun up and finger off the trigger! "Dammit, this fecker's slippery!" He spat. Soon however, it tossed the woman into Ed, and retreated to another ambulance, where it slid its tongue down, grabbing and yanking up Scotty!

"SCOTT!" Rafe shouted eyes wide, jaw agape! He wanted to take aim and fire, but... he'd hit him! "The fecker's holdin' him hostage!" He spat, advancing further into the parking lot to get a better angle. Not like this, we can't lose more people! He took aim, but didn't fire immediately, hoping someone else had a better angle when he saw the bat flying up at it and the blasts firing out of the stomach! He ducked down, but snapped his aim back up as the bullets whizzed randomly from within the creature!

Ed was rushing in to attack again, when he was forced to drop his blades and catch the woman who was thrown at him. He caught her against his chest and set her down behind him, never taking his eyes off the creature. He had to glance at Carrie for just a split second, and he knew he had to resort to using it again.

He had no way of indicating to her what he was about to do, and he knew it would scare the others, but he had no choice. This particular creature was more formidable than the last one, and he simply didn't have the weapons needed to deal with it quickly any other way. it was shrugging off standard 5.56mm rounds like they were rain drops.

"Well, if lead and steel won't do it, lets see if it likes being cauterized" he said, before his skin started lighting up like an inferno once again.



Then he rushed in once again, he needed to either pummel the creature into a burned out husk, or grab a hold of it to reduce it's hide to ash and free the captives that way.

The creature felt the nail bat strike its left eye, forcing it to shriek and claw at it, swallowing Scott in the process... his kicking legs vanishing down its throat without much preamble, the lump he made as he went down noticeable, before the stomach which had been exploding with firepower from within, silhouette of the trapped woman within seized as the addition of the man entering its stomach with her! The creature's girth doubled, the heavy sac of its stomach, bleeding from the .44 magnum shells which managed to pierce through the flesh.

U331 returned its attention to Jane, while Carrie continued to unload. Snapping its tongue in her direction, it caught Carrie by her arms and dragged her over to Jane, dropping down as both women were in range to be devoured together! It relaunched its tongue, coiling both Carrie and Jane, pinning them breast to breast, face to face and drew them in as Ed's flesh began to glow red and crackle with flame! It regarded this... with a sneer? The sentience of the creature was beyond surreal, seeming to taunt the man by drawing the women into its widening, glistening maw!

A shimmering light flew like a piece of hot molten iron, the whizzing sound of the large blade as it cut through the air was like the sound of a dragon fly...in front of Ed's fiery eyes, he could see the blade spinning in motion... and the engraving of a Spade-

The blade continued on its path, severing the beast's tongue as it cut through the softer organ with ease, and due to 'other properties' The blade, bloodied, embedded into the nearby wall, Spade engraving in gold leaf still visible as blood dripped off the machete knife. The man who threw the weapon smirked, emerging from the Ambulance bay, with a trolley full of medicine and bandages, supplies- using the pallet moving device to roll down to the group slowly, kicking it towards the group's ambulance with great ease, before rolling onto the pavement, drawing the mossberg from his holster and pumped three slugs into the creature's back from a kneeling position!

He noted the big guy, looking flamey, and backed him up by charging the creature at full sprint, removing a cylinder from his side pouch, and pulling the pin with his teeth before throwing it. The smoke grenade let out a thick cloud of smoke, obscuring Ed's fiery form, while Jack rushed in and grabbed both women falling with the severed tongue under each arm. Out of the cloud of smoke, he turned to Carrie, who looked pissed, with a subtle wink, before setting them down.

"All yours, big guy!" he shouted back.

The woman continued to fire her M9 at the creature even as it devoured the officer whole, ejecting her spent mags, letting them drop and then reloading fresh ones in a repetitive process.

Carrie turned to Ed, noting the look in his eye. Her own eyes widened, and she shook her head. No, don't they won't understand! She thought, even though he did have little choice left- but in that moment of worry, of her looking away, she felt the tongue coil around her arms and snag her! Carrie let out a surprised cry, as she was thrown into Mei-Lin. The pair regarded each other momentarily, before being scooped up and intimately... pressed against one another. If Mei-Lin couldn't remember Carrie from this close, then she would be in the green for the time being... but as they avoided kissing each other, embraced in the tight warm, sticky coils of the monster who wanted to eat them whole's tongue, and as Ed continued to burn up... the whizzing of Jack's knife cutting through the air, and the creature's tongue saved them from a sticky fate! The pair fell to the ground, just as thick smoke was wooshing from the smoke grenade that clattered nearby. She didn't have time to react, but she knew who it was even before he scooped them up out of harms way and gave her that arrogant smirk and wink. Jack... She mentally groaned. He was enjoying it, clearly, as she couldn't complain to maintain cover. I'm not... a kid dammit!! She mentally screamed!

Being set back down, she looked over to Ed, rushing through the cloud of smoke, which glowed like thunderclouds as he entered them... and turned to Jack now with a confused look on her face, as if asking: 'How? Why? Do you know something I don't?' Kind of look.

Scott felt the powerful throat muscles pushing him down, the tight passage was hot and sticky, and soon he was flushed into a sweltering hot chamber, landing onto Reiko with a painful headbutt, before the rest of his body slipped inside, and she was spooning him. The sticky sensations around him made him kick and holler, quickly ejecting his mag, grabbing the fresh one, fumbling with it and then dropping it! "Dammit...DAMMIT! I'm inside this thing!" He screamed, reaching for his maglight, flicking it on and-



-was face to face with Reiko, albeit covered in sticky webs of greenish bile that was now stinging his flesh! "Ow! Shit, you're alive!" He gasped, as the stomach pushed him onto her, the light dropping between them as he embraced her accidentally due to the monster's movements! "...but for how long? Reiko stared back at the man, calmly stuffing her HP back into her apron, as he panicked and was forced to crawl on top of her. "No, that's after we're digested." She says with a sense of dark humor, at the 'shitty way to go' remark. She could finally see though, thanks to his light, and she swung the crane of the magnum to the side, and stuffed a speedloader into the empty chambers as the casings fell into the stomach. Once she flicked the cylinder back into alignment, she pulled the officer close with her left arm and held the revolver pointed nose up and began pulling the trigger again. Thankfully, the weapon could still fire in spite of the sticky goop surrounding the stainless frame. The chamber got very loud, and rippled violently as she fired the powerful shells into the ceiling of their captor's belly!

Rafe watched Scotty get eaten before his eyes, the one he believed Ed pointed out to be Carrie was pulled away and now going to be eaten alongside Jane! He watched Ed charge, not sure what he'd do, even with his freakish strength and skill... when the theatrics began, and smoke was obscuring the scene as a whole. A man appeared, sprinting towards Carrie and Jane, the pair who were pressed against one another were now free and then carried off under each of his arms, away from the smokescreen. What in the hell...? He saw Ed vanish amid the smoke... and could swear he saw it flicker, but ignored it, running to aid Jane and Carrie. "You ladies injured? Jane, are ya okay?" He asked, setting the M4 aside and aiding the woman back to her feet, holding her shoulders and pulling her away from the creature trying to eat her and the blinding smoke... He looked her over for injuries, having been thrown about a bit, she was slighty bruised but hardly worse for wear. He smiled, then glanced over to the newcomer... the Ace of Spades written on a military emblem patch on his shoulder as he held Carrie and put her back onto her feet. The military shotgun he had in hand was impressive... and his kit was military spec...the dogtags hanging around his neck caught his eye as well. He didn't say anything to the smiling man yet, turning to where the monster was, and grabbed the M4 and Jane's hand, pulling her away from the beast before it ate anyone else. "Lets back away..." he explained, pulling her along.

Jane was stunned by the woman in jeans slamming into her. Wincing, the pair were soon 'abreast' the situation and the scenario which was bout to occur to them. Both busty women were staring at one another and then up at the gaping maw and its humid, fangy prison! We're gonna die... I'm going to be pushed inside that thing's throat again... no, I don't I don't want to!!

Thats when the tongue was severed by a shining light, the pair falling onto one another as the smokescreen set in. Suddenly, she was in some stranger's arms, brought out of the cloud of smoke and into clean air. She looked at the man... and could smell a whiskey and gasoline scent off of him, which was very odd. Not in the manner of a drunk, but... it was just barely there.

Soon, a familiar face was at her side, and she glanced up to Rafe who helped her up and checked her over. "I'm fine, just bruised. Scott... it ate Scott. I couldn't help him." She says, with a slight frown, as Rafe took her hand and pulled her along. She flushed slightly at that, but returned her attention to the cloud of smoke they were leaving behind... that seemed to crackle with fire... "He's in there, taking it on in the smoke. Can't we help him at all?" She asked, glancing back to Rafe with her intelligent, steel grey eyes locked onto his emerald ones.

Ed sneered in return at the creature, even as it was still being peppered by the gunfire. However, when the new arrival laid down cover via a smoke grenade, his sneer turned into a smirk, as he dashed into the cloud. His senses were sharp, and he could see the creature as though it was still clear. He briefly wondered if the creature's senses were as sharp. But it didn't matter. Ed pushed his new ability as far as he dared, his body and clothing burst into flame as it combusted the air around him as he rushed in like a streak of flames, his fist wreathed in it. Which he lashed out at the snout of the creature.



With a connection established, Ed dug his fingers into the creatures head, and the other hand jabbed into and dug into it's large throat. From there, the large man started to pull his hands, and it's head in opposite directions. "Your tougher than the other one, lets see if you are as elastic" he said with a sneer as he started pulling it's head apart.

It was about to have its revenge and meal, when the blade cut through its tongue! U331 shrieked loudly, swiping at its mouth, just as its stomach exploded with gun fire and the interloper removed its would be meaty mouthful, as both of the stacked women were removed from its clutches now! With the smoke shooting out from the canister, and with its stomach aching and bleeding, it decided it was perhaps better to flee and digest what it had, and was leaping back and away from the smoke cloud to make its escape when Ed grabbed it!

The creature's weird wail of surprise resounded as it was yanked back into the smoke, the fiery clutches of the being sizzled its flesh, but it retaliated by jabbing its sharper claws into either side of his! The creature dug deep and as it tried to king-kong its jaws, what was left of its bloody tongue shot out and curled around Ed's neck! Gripping his neck tightly, the beast attempted to strangle the fiery man!

Rafe looked back at the smoke as she said that, and could see bright lights mixed within. "I'm not sure we'd be of much use in there Janie... till it clears our best option is see to the survivors and get the ambulance prepared. We'll have to assume Scotty and others have perished till they can be rescued, but we sadly can't wait for them to be safe. We have others countin' on us!" he explained, before noticing the medical supply cart. "Lets start with loading that up into the ambulance!" he explains, rushing over, helping up the woman (Kali) and then resumed to load the meds into the Ambulance.

Carrie looked at Jack who wasn't going to tell her a thing, and then back to the others who were packing up the ambulance. Right... the ambulance. She remembered, having found the key they needed, and apparently Jack got supplies. She turned to Ed and the smoke, and then looked around. "I don't see Reiko anywhere... fuck." she spat, gathering her stainless M9, and ran for the ambulance to expedite the unloading of supplies, glancing back into the flaming cloud... and glad Jack had at least threw that grenade for Ed's sake... but she was going to need a full explanation later from him. She continued to the ambulance. "Let me help," she says to the woman she was familiar with and the red head. "Carrie." She introduced. "I've got the keys for the ambulance."

Jack watched Carrie and the other two get fast to work, as he wonders over to the wall where his blade impaled the concrete- in the commotion and all the chaos, not to mention a shrub being conveniently placed near it, no one saw or thought of it. Jane looked down and saw her revolver and picked it up, along with the 870 stub barrel shot gun she had thrown at the beast to get its attention. She slid the empty firearm into the back of the vehicle and turned to the scene where the new guy was aiding the larger one. She didn't know what kind of world she woke up into... but it seemed like one made for the strong... and those two, were definitely strong...

Reiko stared back at the man, calmly stuffing her HP back into her apron, as he panicked and was forced to crawl on top of her. "No, that's after we're digested." She says with a sense of dark humor, at the 'shitty way to go' remark. She could finally see though, thanks to his light, and she swung the crane of the magnum to the side, and stuffed a speedloader into the empty chambers as the casings fell into the stomach. Once she flicked the cylinder back into alignment, she pulled the officer close with her left arm and held the revolver pointed nose up and began pulling the trigger again. Thankfully, the weapon could still fire in spite of the sticky goop surrounding the stainless frame. The chamber got very loud, and rippled violently as she fired the powerful shells into the ceiling of their captor's belly!

"Oh, priceless, at least we've come to terms about it, no- I havent!" Scott screamed, before being pulled into the woman's forceful embrace. He went deaf briefly as she unloaded the magnum near their heads in the tight space... and as his ears rang loudly, he could feel the acidic bile climbing up their bodies as the world around them shook about violently! He held onto her tightly, cringing as the pain got intense, the flashlight bouncing around the slimy walls, hitting him in the back as whatever was going down outside got more intense, and hot! Burning up in here... not sure if its related to outside, inside, or Reiko here... Dammit... Is this really how I'll die? He pondered, wishing he had a more valiant death at least than being digested as a mutant frog's lunch...
