Scott bursts into the underground garage, his head snapping left to right for an available vehicle. There was one being worked on, suspended, Handy's damn Firebird, and a few available squad cars. He turns to wall where the spare keys were generally stored, and didn't bother signing the paperclip stating he took Car 32's keys, running over to the available vehicle and entered it. "C'mon Dad... be fine... be fine!" He fastens his belt, shakily bringing the keys to the steering column before gunning the Ford Victoria's engine. He slams his door shut, adjusts the rear view mirror, staring back at his wide, terrified blue eyes before he put the vehicle into drive and pulled the squad car from its spot. He took a turn carefully as he could at his higher than necessary speed up the ramp into the back parking lot-

The decent into the station's underbelly was quick, and winded to a sharp left turn. Several police vehicles in various states of repair and disrepair sat there. However, a sexy Firebird was parked at one corner of the room and Cathy had an inkling it belonged to one of the Lieutenants, Captains.... perhaps the Chief himself. She didn't see any signs of the infected just yet, nor any wandering officers which was great for her. The police are still trying to piece the situation together. I heard the gunshots at the proper entrance to the station, so their focus right now is the entrance where most of the city's victims will assault first. I think I'll hunker down here somewhere in the mean time. Cathy formulated to herself. She slipped behind a pair of vehicles and lied low and silently, listening to the echoing gunfire coming from the crawlspace to her right. She looked over at it with a raised brow. A shaft to the underpass area in the front courtyard... would make a quick entrance to the front of the station, should I need to evacuate the parking lot in a moment's notice. Could perhaps be my proper introduction to the survivors if I need to. She thought, sitting in the darkness and alert of the creatures who were likely following her into the garage from up top...

Cathy turned her attention to the vehicle which had approached one of the columns. She raised a brow. "An officer?" She says gently under her breath, watching as the woman exited the vehicle. She looked pretty and tough, but seemed to be unaware of the danger of the station, or Raccoon City itself for that matter. Cat had to wonder how she got through the way she did, and if she was worth the trouble saving. Hmm... best to get as many friends as I can get, since I'm stuck here... She thought, as she crept through the garage, wondering how she'd approach the woman without spooking her.

She was fairly relaxed..well trying to. her first day on the job and as usual she was a little nervious about making a good first impression on her new coworkers. with the trunk of the bmw open she pulled her duffel bag out. the heavy bag catching her a little off balance, before the trunk of the coupe was closed. the audible 'thud' ringing out of the eerily quiet surroundings before she slipped her keys into her jacket, but also getting the weird feeling that..something was off but she pushed that feeling off on her nerves..

Cat kept to the shadows, unsure how to proceed yet, when she heard the shuffling. Oh God... Catherine turned her head around the corner of a crate of tools, and noticed that one of the shambling creatures had made their way down the ramp from the parking lot up top! She glanced back to the woman, struggling with her gym bag, and then back to the infected. She waited patiently, to gauge the woman's reaction.

The shambling corpse dragged their leg behind them, making a leathery scraping sound on the concrete floor of the parking garage. They were an officer of the department, their nametag obscured in blood, their face sullen and almost drunken in appearance; their eyes a light blue and dried flecks of blood coated around their mouth. Their uniform had a bunch of red stains, entry and exit wounds from a small caliber weapon, and blood soaked his white uniform top deeply. His hair was slicked back, greasy and wet with a blond appearance. His skin was pale, almost a paper white with dark rings under his eyes, and he had several bite wounds on his arms, when he tried to defend himself, but an older and massive injury that ripped through his pant leg and cut deep into his ankle; the ankle was of the foot he was dragging behind him, its injury was barely contained by several blood soaked bandages. His radio handset was hanging by the cord; at one point the clip fell off his shoulder, or he pulled it off and was trying to use it before death. His firearm was also missing, as were the mag pouches next to the leather holster, but his tonfa style night stick and flashlight were still was rigged to his belt.

He shuffled, around the bend of the new recruit's car, his head hanging sleepishly against his left shoulder as he pauses... and slowly turns to face the woman.

"Uhnn...." He moaned, lightly, weakly. His mouth slightly agape, small bits of flesh and sinew clinging between the gaps of his yellowed teeth.

The sound is what alerted her attention, turning her head she seen what she really had trouble wrapping her head around for a moment before she fought back a little laugh, instead acting scared on a level fit for a syfi channel movie at the time since she figured it was some of the other officers deciding to haze the new girl "Oh no what's going on here? what are you?" she said as she took a step towards the officer. making note of his face "Whoever did his makeup did an amazing job!" she thought to herself as she got a better look.

"Uhhnn...." the infected man moaned, his oddly blue eyes darting over to her face. "Uhnn...." Shuffling towards her as she began to approach, his right hand raised as he stumbled towards her, almost too eagerly! "Ooooooh....!" a soulless hunger in his voice, he stumbled towards her, his shuffling leg catching the back wheel of her car before he fell forwards, onto his chest! Rae could see his back; several exit wounds that were nearly double the size of the entry wounds. Part of his flesh looked like it was rotting, and she could even see bits of bone jutting from the wounds as he lay there on his chest for a moment... before his hands pushed him off the concrete, to aid his lunge forwards! "Rahhhhhh!" The man wailed, swinging out his right arm as he lunged out to her, smacking his chest and head against the concrete again!

Seeing the detail up close as he fell against her car she took a step back from him"that..that looks and smells really real..good job on scaring the rookie" she said before he lunged at her, causing her to take a little hop backwards instinctively putting a few more feet between them" Alright..this shit aint funny anymore" the giddy tone in her voice changing to a more annoyed state as she gave a quick glance around the garage to see if she could spot anyone else.

Feeling the pressure of the bite on the toebox of her heel, saliva oozing a bit onto her toe cleavage she shifted her weigh as the hand tried to grip her thigh, that heavy dufflebag was slung downwards, sending 40 ibs of equipment combined with the force she slung it directly towards the officers head "I Said knock it off!" her tone had shifted completely at this point to more aggressive as she backed up until she was against the fender of her car. she figured if this was stilla joke someone would come outside before she beat the everloving shit out of the guy.

The zombie patrolman was stunned by the blow that connected to its face, his head snapping back, his body rolling away from her, losing its grip on her in the process. He landed on his back, spasms for a moment. "Uhhnn...." He groaned, his boot heels dragging across the paved floor, his body lethargically rolling side to side, almost like a turtle that was flipped onto its shell. He eventually rolls over on to his chest... his knees bend and his waist rises, his chest limply hanging over as he dragged his body upward. Stumbling, he stands again, still slumped over, till his back arches, and his head lazily rolls against his right shoulder. His faded eyes are white... yet they are staring right at the woman who was to be his coworker... before he got infected.

"Uhhhhn...." He moaned again, shuffling towards her, head bobbing, arms outstretched and his lips peeling open!

From her observations, the woman was definitely not one to mess around with, but given her humor of the situation, she must have not encountered any of the infected up to this point. In a way, this could be effective...

Cathy steps out from the shadows, the VP70 in her hand raised at the infected officer. "Hey! Over here!" She yelled at the monster, turning her attention briefly towards the woman, her unique brown and amber eyes glancing over her for a moment, before she shot her eyes back to the zombie. She fired the gun once, a loud booming shot that echoed throughout the underground parking garage as the bullet slammed into the monster's neck. She fired three more times in the former cop's chest, blowing out meaty matter out its back, splatting the woman's car in the process. "You think this is still a joke?" She asked the woman. "He's a monster now, you need to kill it! You've got a gun, don't ya?" She added, firing another round into a vital area aside from the head to push her point across to the woman.

Between shadow woman coming out of no where and the fact that this lady just dumped a few shots into the guy and he was still standing was enough for the square peg to finally go in the right hole in her brain. dropping the duffle bag to the floor, she in holstered her 92f from inside of her jacket. safety being flicked off as she leveled her aim towards the man's face, hoping that the woman in the shadows was right otherwise this would be one hell of a incident report to write up as she pulled the trigger!

The zombie had turned to the new arrival, peppered by her shots that seemingly had little effect till Raeni managed to yank out her weapon and shoot him in the head! The creature recoiled sharply, stumbling sideways as half of its face got obliterated by the entry and exit wound! It teeters, then falls with a wet splat upon the garage floor!

Cathy lowered her smoking gun, sighing with relief. "Thank goodness, you can fucking shoot." She smirked. She was tall, at around 5'9 give or take without the summer pumps. She was also wearing a bright orange and white striped sleeveless collared dress meant for summer use that hugged her curvaceous figure rather well. She adjusted her underframed glasses as she approached the woman, her long black hair done in an odd style for the states, save for those who may have watched Anime like Sailor Moon. Her blunt bangs swayed above her brow, her long sidelocks drifting across her cheeks as she inspected the creature on the floor. "Yup... its dead now." She says, turning her Asian eyes to the killer. "You're a cop, right?" She asked the woman, glancing her over. "I'd have said off duty, or detective, but your demeanor with that thing makes me think otherwise... a rookie officer, perhaps?" She asked, pressing the new girl for answers that weren't entirely important. Hmm... need to know what my potential allies do and are capable of... She thought to herself.

"...take your time, I'm going to look around for officer's who aren't trying to eat our flesh." She says in a respectful manner, ejecting her magazine and hand loaded a few bullets to make up for the ones she shot. She was sure someone in the station heard their shots, but she wasn't going to wait for them to show up. She holstered her weapon and headed for the door with the sign that directed her towards the stairs, she assumed would lead her into the station proper.

The Asian woman didn't have to walk far, as an officer loaded with a 870 Police Magnum shotgun aimed her weapon towards her face. "Freeze!" Officer Alison 'Ali' Marks uttered. Ali had been in the firing range when she heard the shots, and fortunately had been in possession of the shotgun in her hands. "Hands up, and no sudden movements!" She barked, slowly approaching the woman, turning to the other as well. She noticed the dead cop lying on the ground... and returned her attention to the woman. "On the ground, both of you!" She spat.

Damn it... is that Frank? What the hell is he doing here, wasn't he supposed to be patrolling East Ennerdale? She thought, thinking of the Stadium. Supposedly there was a riot, but she wasn't one of the SWAT or Riot qualified officers asked to part take in the operation. Now he was dead, in the basement? She began her slow approach towards the women again. "I said, on the ground..."

Cat raised her arms. "Wow... the cops really do show up late in the end..." she murmured, before redirecting her odd, light brown and amber gaze towards the woman in front of her. "Officer..." She began, scanning the tag, just catching the word 'Marks'. "...Marks, this is a misunderstanding, I'm sure you are aware of the situation brewing in the streets right now, yes?" She started, taking a cautious step forwards, hands still up. She saw her looking over to Raeni and the fallen infected cop, before returning her large brown and amber orbs back to the police woman. "That woman over there is a cop, just like you. The dead officer attacked without provocation, and we had no choice but to defend ourselves..." she continued, stepping closer to the officer. She could see clearly, that Ms. Marks was equally unaware of the zombie outbreak like the woman behind her, and though she was boldly not following the officer's orders, she was not going to get her lovely striped dress get all dusty, and more importantly, make herself become vulnerable to further attack because the officer was following orders. She was confident that she could get her point across to the officer... one way or another.

Ali didn't like that the woman didn't get on the ground, and was purposely pissing her off by stepping closer. To counter this act, Ali took a step forward herself and jammed the barrel of the shotgun between the Asian's oddly well endowed chest! "I said on the ground Tits McGee! Or I'm going to give ya one helluva breast reduction!" She spat, jamming the gun hard into the Asian's chest. Ali's blue eyes sharply glared into the Asian's unique pair of brown with amber centers. "I am authorized to shoot if you do not comply, you have to the count of three!" She started. "Two!" She skipped one, and braced her shoulder for recoil...!

"Corporal!"

The voice was commanding, somewhat suspicious and overall direct. The sound of a stretcher behind Officer Marks, as well as the sound of approaching footfalls would cause all on hand to stop what they were doing. Rae would recognize the voice from over the phone, and Alison would recognize it instantly, for it was Lieutenant Marvin Branagh:



He was a tall man, a dedicated officer of the force and had been one of the more seasoned local officers, and a veteran of the station for some time. What was odd was his presence at the station... Lt. Handy was taking his shift today, so why was Lt. Branagh here?

He glanced over the woman in the striped dress, and then to Raeni. "Officer Williams, I see you've arrived... I'm sorry to say, but your welcome party's been canceled." He then notices the dead officer, who looked like he expired weeks ago, before returning to the Asian, who carried herself... well for a civilian. He figured perhaps she was a cop herself, but she wasn't one of his... or perhaps ex military... but he shrugged his suspicions away for now, and turned to Alison. "Marks, I'm going to need you to escort these two to the lobby, and then I'll need you to guard the front entrance to the station with Officers McInis and Westport. The city's in hell and I need every gun I can get on securing this building. Irons and Deputy Chief Douglas are missing, as are Handy and Captain Cahill; the city's a complete mess and I'm not going to sit here and lose any more of my officers." He explained, as the stretchers containing the bodies of the lost personnel from the front gate slid past them and headed towards the morgue. He followed them with his eyes, before sighing. "No one else..."

With her chest being prodded with the barrel of the shotgun, the woman was about to make a point to ask before you touched, when instead Officer Marks' superior entered the room. Cat breathed a sigh of relief and was doubly glad that someone in the station knew about the situation outside, and weren't simply sticking their thumbs up their asses and waiting for every infected asshole to crawl through the woodwork! She could hear sub machine gun fire somewhere outside, and the loud boom of a high caliber rifle. Better late then never I suppose...but with this level of chaos in the station, I wonder how much my progress will be hindered... She lowered her arms finally, and she remained quiet as the Lieutenant observed her closely. She could tell this man had a bullshit detector, and in spite of her charms... she was going to smartly plead the fifth on the scenario.

Silently, she waited for the Corporal to have a change of heart...

Ali was caught off guard, jumping as Lieutenant Branagh entered the room with a few other familiar faces. "L-Lieutenant, I was just appreh-" she stopped at the sight of the stretcher, the bodies zipped up inside the black bags on top of them and the grim faces of her coworkers as they carted the bodies towards the morgue. She blinked, and returned her attention to her superior. She listened to the man's hollowed tone, his grim explanation of defending the station, of not losing more officers like Frank and whoever else was in those bags. "Lieutenant, what's going on? Guard the front gate? From what?! What about these two, even if she's a fellow officer, there is a dead officer on the ground right here and its all very suspicious to me, Sir!"

Marvin snapped his head back towards Alison and he had a sad look on his face. "Look past it, Corporal." He tensely snapped. "I gave you an order, take these two with you to the lobby and secure the gates..." he says, gentler as he follows the stretcher and their fellow officers. He paused in mid stride however, and looked down. "As for who?" he turned his head, giving her an over the shoulder glance. "Ourselves. Now on the double, get up there and aid Westport and McInis. They'll explain the situation better than I can." He finished, before returning to his task, escorting the fallen comrades to the morgue.
