Basement 3 Cafeteria and Kitchen

Kyung-Mi Kim wiped her brow, leaning against the tile wall of the Cafeteria's kitchen. Her hands still trembling, the large assault carbine she took from the dead USS operative felt comfortably heavy in her tiny hands. She could still hear the virus carries beating against the sheet metal paneling outside the cafe, the sound of burst gunfire, a couple of gruff cuss words followed by a raise in pitch shriek of fear and agony before the gunfire was muffled and then non-existent.

"Bloody Christ..." Kim panted, shakily checking her ammunition. There were only a few of the VCs walking around the cafeteria right now, beyond the threshold of the kitchen she was in- able to see through the small window the short order cook would normally receive orders from... now said cook was face down in the fryer, and pale as a sheet of paper while the oils still crisped his face.

Ben Nakano wrote:"Anyone alive down there? This is Ben Nakano of the Security Unit, please report in, repeat, please report in, over."

The radio crackling to life made her jump as she was checking the M4's 45 round high capacity mag, nearly dropping the banana mag in the process. "Shit!" She juggled the mag, stuffing it into her chest pouch before fumbling for the radio. "Bloody hell, someone's alive out there! This is Kyung-Mi Kim of the Security Unit as well. I've holed myself up inside the B3 Cafeteria. May require some assistance getting to you Ben Nakano, where are you broadcasting from? Over." She replied, glad to finally hear another human's voice!
