Background & Other Details:

The updated AK47, a Russian assault rifle known for its high reliability in the field and for its use by the Soviet Military since the days of the cold war and into the present 1998. It is not a weapon one would find, normally in Raccoon City, but due to extenuating circumstances, it is not too impossible to find given the outbreak and the Deputy Mayor flexing his underworld connections. Harris' men are outfitted with the AKM, and it takes AK47 and RPK drum magazines, both of which are used by some sectors of the Umbrella Inc security side, as the AK47 is a weapon trained with at both Rockfort Island and Sheena Island Military Training facilities. The ammo isn't as common in the shops either, but most of the Deputy Mayor's lackies carry a couple extra magazines in their pockets.
