Like the Raccoon City Police Department, the Arklay County Sheriff's Department possessed a variety of weapons for its officers, and some a bit more powerful than the RPD, while others were able to interchange well between both departments.

The standard Sheriff sidearm is the 9mm Glock 17, which is being issued to many deputies to replace the older issue 9mm Browning Hi-Powers. As mentioned, other deputies were provided with the Browning Hi-Power, similarly to the RPD. Kendo Modified Silver Serpents, a .357 Revolver based on the model used by Barry Burton, were also provided for Senior and Junior Deputies.

Officers licensed for shotguns are provided with Benelli M3S or Remington M870 shotguns.

For heavier weaponry, alongside the MP5 Submachine Gun they have M16 Semi-Auto Assault Rifles. They also carry .30-30, and .45-70 Lever Action Rifles as well as a bolt-action Model 70 for patrolling the Arklay Forests and mountains. They also carry a Arwen 37 and M79 Grenade Launcher for riot control.

The range is used for marksmanship training by the officers and deputies at the station.
