Entrance Lobby

The entrance to the Arklay County Sheriff's Department. A welcome desk is to the left upon entry, blocked off by a wall and thick glass where the receptionist sits. The lobby has blue carpeting, and there are a few desks for Deputies on the go in plain view of the waiting area opposite of the welcome desk. A hall to the West heads to several rooms and offices for various officers, while a hall to the East heads to the bathrooms for public use.

RAVEN stepped through the blazing front entry, the wreckage of the exploded car blocking everything else in burning rubble. The red tinted viewplate scanned the shattered front desk for survivors, his P90 saddled on his shoulder while the railgun slung to his back. The helmet moved slowly towards the other doorways of the lobby.

The Sheriff Deputies inside the station were still scrambling for answers as to what was happening in the city. "Where's Senior Deputy Wheeler? Hasn't he come back from the RPD yet?" One of the Deputies asked another. The other raised his shoulders. "I dunno, we're still trying to figure out where a number of our Deputies are. Sheriff Cortini is still out there as well, but I'm sure its just one of those science things-"
"-Science things? What the hell are you talking about Parker?"
"You know, 'spotted-sun' or some shit. I dunno, I saw it on the Discovery Channel."
"Since when did you watch Disc--what the hell is-?" The deputies turned to the door, a pair of bright lights getting bigger in view!
"OH SHI-" Parker exclaimed, but not in time to finish his sentence as the charger barrels through the building's entrance! Several deputies are tossed about, the desk attendants fell back, the protective glass encasing the welcome desk cracked from the rattling explosion of energy as the vehicle dove through the double doors! A moment later an explosion rocked the building further, the lights going out, before the emergency generator's lights kicked in with a low hum. The red glare of the emergency lights lit the scene in a curtain of red, while the fires and flame of the burning vehicle crackled and flickered. The welcome desk's protective glass was severely spider webbed and blackened by fire, and it was unclear if the desk officer was injured or killed thanks to the obstruction.
Deputies in their tan uniforms rose from the shaky entrance, to look up at the goliath of a man in black armor, carrying a large gun on his back and a pair of smaller guns in each hand that looked foreign. Parker coughed, choking on the black fumes of the fire, drawing his Glock 17 and began to fire upon the armed suspect. Another Deputy did the same, while another came running out of the bathrooms to check out what the fuck had just happened. Civilians who were there, those who survived the explosion, who were there originally to try and explain about the series of cannibalistic events in the city were screaming, running from the man in black while the deputies open fire.
"-Science things? What the hell are you talking about Parker?"

As the ineffectual 9mm rounds sparked and deflected harmlessly off of his titanium carbon composite armor, RAVEN rose his deadly P90 again.
Sending a burst of fire at the offending officers, while also taking aim with one of his unique DAE pistols, aiming for the civilians.
With a single blast at each, the DAE sent an explosive tipped .55 round through the defenceless unarmed citizens, while the 5.7×28mm Armor penetrators of the P90 tore into the officers. Once the civilians were dead or had managed to scramble to cover, RAVEN reholstered the DAE, and took his rail rifle back into his right hand, aiming the gargantuan weapon towards where the third deputy had exited the bathroom, and fired, discharging another lightning bolt like shot.

The one who stepped out from the bathroom backed up as the weird rifle was raised towards him, the resulting blast from the weapon caused deep scorch marks to set into the wall. Other Deputies responded to the gunfire and chaos from Raven's right, down a hall around the walled off front desk, armed with shotguns. "Who the fuck is that?!" Came between blasts of Benelli M3S shotguns, slugs and pellets spraying towards the armored man. Another came around with a .45-70 Lever Action to aid the two deputies, while Parker, on the ground, bleeding, still turned his Glock in defiance to the man in black!

RAVEN's body flinched as the large bore .45-70 rounds slammed into his suit's hull plating. Shrugging off the shotgun slugs and smaller weapons fire, he unleashed the Snakearms, the large mechanical tendrils slid from their housings on his shoulders, and aimed at the rifleman and shotgunners, before firing their payload of helldart missiles. The electromagnetically charged missiles exploded in the corridoors, sending splinters and frayed wood fragments showering everywhere in a mantle of sparks and charred wood.
"Too many of them rounds in one spot could cause the armor to fracture." RAVEN thought, even as he took his pistol in hand again, and aimed it at Parker's head, and froze for just a moment as an image of Catherine surged into Victor's mind. The veteran closed his eyes to dispel the ghost, and squeezed the trigger.
"I'm sorry..." he thought to himself once again. Shaking off the sudden unexpected guilt of yet more blood on his hands, RAVEN burst through the safety glass of the welcome desk, and kicked through the deadlocked door behind it, looking for further targets.
As he searched, RAVEN pressed a small series of buttons on his wrist console. "SHADOWFOX - This is RAVEN - I have commenced the destruction of the Sherrif's department. Requesting status update. Aknowledge"

A red headed receptionist cowered in the corner of the office that the hulking black armored RAVEN had pushed through. She screamed, shakily aiming her Glock 17 at him! "S-stay away!" She cried, as a pair of officers wielding the station's Semi-Auto M16's at the man from the other side of the hall he was about to enter! "Die bastard!" One screamed, pulling the trigger in a kneeling position, while the other pushed over one of the vending machines to use for cover, returning fire when the other man ducked behind the wall to reload his assault weapon.

RAVEN's reflexes snapped into action as he leaned back, allowing the M16's 5.56mm rifle rounds to craze the viewplate of his visor, creating a small mantle of sparks as he raised his left hand, firing three shots from the DAE at the offending officer, finishing the magazine, which slid from the pistol's grip. Turning against the grain, several of the NATO rounds scored the Supervisor's right pauldron as he turned and unleashed a burst from the P90 in his right hand, even as he slammed the grip of the pistol in his left onto the magazine rack on his waist to feed a new magazine into the weapon. Once in place, the slide clicked back into firing position, and RAVEN fired both weapons akimbo.
What neither would probably notice, was that RAVEN had not aimed a single bullet at the receptionist yet...
The reason soon became apparent.
While pinning down the officers under a torrent of armor piercing and explosive tipped rounds, one of the metall tentacles attached to his shoulders had snaked it's way towards her, an it's tripedal claws spread wide, ready to run her through with mechanical force!

The pair of officers fell back as the powerful rounds tore into the wall and into the vending machine, a torrent of various softdrinks exploding out of the entry holes buried into the heavy metal machine while splinters of wood and masonry flew from the wall!
The female officer had no idea what that thing was shooting towards her as she tried to evade it, shooting the 9mm handgun at it as it came for her!

The receptionist was impaled instantaneously, killing her in the process. The appendage dragged her from side to side as RAVEN made sure she was deceased, before the tendril lifted her up overhead, before slamming the corpse to the ground with a thunderous wet splat.
RAVEN himself holstered his pistol again, and drew out one of his FRAG grenades. Drawing the pin with his thumb, and letting the trigger fly, he cooked off the grenade for 2 seconds, before lobbing the weapon between the fallen column and the perforated vending machine, sending the retreating officers flying into cover deeper into the building, with the armored soldier followed them into the hallway, drawing his railgun as he walked through the smoke his grenade left behind.
RAVEN's radio crackled to life once again.

I didn't sign up for this fuckery!" he spat, shivering as he let the order of events go through his head again. Ben Nakano was a member of Umbrella's security guard unit, a relatively cushy job for the company military jar heads that couldn't make it into the Security Service. Billy Harding, Jamie Brown and Ben were on monitor duty, when their big boss came rushing down to their office with a look of dread on his face. They were then ushered into the armory, with the other guys on shift and told they would be assisting the USS with a biohazard leak in the lower levels. He didn't expect the chaos, the number of fucking infected they were going to face! Sure they were slow, but their numbers and resilient bodies made them impossible to deal with. Before he knew it, the line of defense had faltered, Ben watched his buddies die, and turned tail himself. He can still hear the screams...

One mag fully finished. He found a couple mags for his handgun and stocked up on them too while he continued to fill his spent MP5 mags. He'd rather have the full size gun, but the parts for the conversion were in the lower levels armory, and there was no way he was going back to B3 or further if he had to! He wanted to get out of this death trap, somehow alert the staff, get a fucking evac chopper and leave this fucking place! He turned his head to the radio, wondering if anyone was still alive down there. He patched into the main radio, and took a seat, sweat dripping off his short hair as he continued to load the spare mags. "Anyone alive down there? This is Ben Nakano of the Security Unit, please report in, repeat, please report in, over." He spoke clearly and as calmly as he could, his adrenaline still coursing through his body. He was surprised he was able to slip away relatively unscathed from those bastards, then again, he was skinny and lithe enough to slip by a few of the close ones. Their rotting expressions still haunting him, as he continued to load.

Raven tapped the receiver on his wristcomp. "This is Monitor 27, Codename: RAVEN. What is your status, Ben Nakano? Who are you with?"

RAVEN walked back towards the entrance, which was still blocked by the fire despite the rain and the fire supression sprinklers going off earlier. With that in mind, he heaved two manual CO2 Foam fire extinguishers from the wall and tossed them into the flames, before shooting them with his P90, which caused the extinguishers to burst and shower their entire payload over the flames at the entrance.
