R.P.D. Fall Uniform: A standard set of fall/winter uniform with a light blue V-necked collar short sleeved shirt with the RPD logo on both shirt-sleeves. He wears a white tank top underneath. This is accompanied with black trousers and black patrol boots. He wears the standard police belt around his waist with sidepacks attached and a holster for a SWAT issued M92F. Three magazine pouches are attached to the belt as well, as are his mag light, baton, and radio. A handset is holstered on his right shoulder to the radio on his hip. He also wears a black kevlar vest with 'POLICE' on it.




-R.P.D. S.W.A.T. Uniform: A navy blue tactical jacket with matching fatigues, black tactical fingerless gloves, black Kevlar RPD SWAT vest with accessory pouches on it, a black utility belt around his waist which has the ability to hold 5 additional magazines, sidepacks, cuffs, maglite flashlight, and his nightstick; a right handed dropleg thigh holster for a handgun (could fit a Beretta 92, VP70 or Browning Hi Power) with a smaller flashlight pouch attached. A drop leg pouch on the left leg, a small fanny backpack, a riot helmet and balaclava a radio headset, a black spandex bandana headwrap. Black elbow pads and knee pads, black lace up combat boots. A black t-shirt with POLICE on it.

Variation- later on he'll ditch the vest and jacket (for some reason or another), use a riot kevlar vest, and keep much of his original outfit otherwise intact:

History:
A young and likable police officer, Shane Lake is a local boy who grew up in the outskirts of the city, and is an avid hunter, fisherman and hiker whose also fond of climbing. He was mostly raised by his uncle, his parents white collar types who were around only now and then. In spite of that, he had a great upbringing and was a track and field star and the captain of the Raccoon High baseball team in his teens that placed second in nationals. Instead of pursuing sports however, he decided to join the R.P.D. like his grandfather and uncle had.

Among his peers he is well liked for the most part, but since joining the newly appointed S.W.A.T. unit, has sparked a bit of a friendly rivalry with Sargent Ben 'Big Ben' Winters and Carl 'Hillbilly' McInis, as the three are adept marksman and sniper training. He's also trained in demolitions, alongside Serah "Demo" Wu.

-Firearms Familiarity: He is familiar with multiple firearms, from handguns and shotguns to military rifles, submachine guns and specialized launchers.
-Paramilitary Demolitions Expert: He knows how to handle and build explosives, from rigging them, deactivating them.
-Sharpshooter: Between raised in the woods with a gun in hand, and his police training, he is a trained marksman and competitive shooter, leading him to be very accurate with all sorts of weaponry.
-SWAT Training: He has paramilitary equipment from weapons to technology from the SWAT training he endured. He knows how to handle police and military equipment.
