This is paired with a cropped, forest green flak vest, holster and combat boots. Valued possessions: Catherine's P018 Custom: A 9x19mm handgun made by Bernardelli, a well known Italian firearms manufacturer. A sophisticated, balanced and accurate 9mm handgun that rivals the Beretta 92. This variant is stainless, with a picatinny rail built into the frame, an extended threaded barrel to support a 9mm pistol muffler, with wooden, checkered grips. This modified handgun was originally the side arm of Cat's mentor, the Raven a.k.a Victor Roth, who bequeathed the weapon to her during the later half of the Raccoon City Outbreak in late September of 1998. The weapon holds fifteen rounds plus one in the chamber and is equipped with a LAM (Laser Aiming Module) and tactical flashlight hybrid system.

-U.B.C.S. M4A1 C.Q.B. (Marine One Custom): A modified Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) standard M4A1 Assault Carbine that's been modified for use in the Caribbean. The sliding stock, pistol grip, ribbed forend grip, and accessories are made of tan/sand colored plastic, while the rest is standard. The weapon's customized with a red dot sight as well as a side-flip booster. A laser pointer is attached to the top rail and a quick release grip is attached to the weapon's 30 round magazines. Compatible with 5.56x45mm and .223 Rem Rounds. Cat relinquished the weapon from a Hostile UBCS Marine One commando.

-Cat's Umbrella Knife: A combat/fighting knife developed by Umbrella Inc's USS Corps. Made of Umbrella Steel, it never requires sharpening and is damn near indestructible as well as undetectable through metal detectors. On top of it all, its keen, vorpal blade like edge allows it to cut through just about anything and is solely dependant on her own strength what that could be. An engraving of the Umbrella logo is on the blade on either side, with a sawtooth reverse edge and bowie knife like shape with a fortified combat grip. Its a weapon only crafted for U.S.S. members who achieved the 'Top Ten' in their class on Rockfort Island.

History:
French born spy, Catherine Miller is the daughter of the famed Master Miller who aided Big Boss in the 70's up to his insurrection in 1999. Cat was born in Paris, France and left there with her adoptive mother till she left her home at the age of 9, tracking down her father in the Seychelles on the oil rig known as 'Mother Base'. She was then raised on board by longtime family friend, Victor Roth. She graduated from a prominent college in California at 17, before joining the Japanese Self Defense Forces under the pseudonym 'Kyoko Oda' thanks to her father's connections. However, Umbrella Security Forces took note of her skill and managed to convince her to transfer into the USS program in '96. There, she is surprised to be met by Victor Roth again, under the codename RAVEN where she trains to become an Umbrella Assassin and Special Forces soldier. Her codename at this time is VIPER.

Cat has a literal falling out with Umbrella by '97, and is proclaimed dead by the company till she resurfaces again in '98 working for a different organization, V-SAC. She is assigned to lead an operation in Raccoon City to steal Dr. James Ferral's volatile S-Virus by a unspecified source, V-SAC's Unicorn unit which are reconnaissance and infiltration experts within the organization and wears the mantle of 'Nine-Tailed Fox' as her codename. However, plans go awry when Umbrella attempt to steal back Dr. Birkin's G-Virus around the same time, and the city is plunged into a viral outbreak. Cat becomes intertwined in the lives of various Raccoon City citizens, and even 'dies' saving Ben Winters.

However, she survived her wounds and is taken to the V-SAC exclusion zone where she is grounded by Deputy Field Commander CLAYMORE due to her grievous injuries. Cat, feeling responsible for her failures and knowing the ins and outs of Ferral's labs, loads her body on stem packs and morphine before replacing and assuming the identity of DRAKE, the soldier in charge of V-SAC's Wolf Unit during the '98 outbreak. The team is none the wiser till the real DRAKE is found unconscious at the LZ, but by this point it is too late to call the team back. Said team, suffer high casualties, (a similar fate to HUNK on the USS side of things with his Virus heist operation), with DRAKE ending up the only survivor of Wolf Unit. Under guise of DRAKE, she encounters some of her friends she met while as Cat, but sticks to her mission to exfiltrate with the S-Virus Samples.

She leaves Raccoon City early morning of October 1st, helping out her friends by kicking an experimental Rocket Launcher from the helicopter sent in to retrieve her and the surviving members of V-SAC as well as RAVEN. In spite of her successful mission, Cat is given a probationary period of forced 'time off' under the supervision of the now public enemy of Umbrella RAVEN. She spends time in Alaska with her father, helping him train Alaskan Scouts till December where she is called in to aid Silver Dagger, a group made by her lover, Damian Handy. His mission: to save Ben Winters from Rockfort Island. Given her knowledge and history she accepts, but keeps her identity from Damian during the entire mission. When the mission shifts from the South Atlantic to Antarctica, she is exposed by Raymond Taylor who is apparently still alive. It is revealed soon after that Edgar Holden is still alive who aids the reunited Catherine, Damian, Ben against an unexpected enemy- Stage 4 Alexia Ashford who had survived the linear launcher (barely) and mutated into a far more deadlier threat that spread across the Australian Research Base. Together, the four defeat her by combining Ed's abilities channeled into the linear launcher, with Damian and Cat helping to keep the weapon from flying out of Ben's and Ed's hands!

Cat and Damian spend a steamy New Years in New York City, and become practically inseparable since.

In 1999, Cat decides to investigate irregular activity in the Caribbean involving Umbrella and former Deputy Mayor and creep, Rufus Devlin Harris, who appeared to survive Raccoon City. In spite of her experiences, she leaves expecting a quick resolution to the situation, preparing for a light recon of Umbrella's odd activities in the region and otherwise hoping to enjoy a vacation in paradise, Cat arrives to the archipelago relatively bare...  

It's been two weeks since Cat has contacted Damian or Ben... something isn't right. Even worse, Saoirse and Jack Cavanaugh who tagged along haven't reported in either.

-Special Forces Trained (USS): She was trained as a JSDF soldier (Japanese Self Defense Forces) before she was recruited by Umbrella to work as an Umbrella Security Service operative. She is trained in various styles of mixed martial arts, rappelling, piloting, diving/swimming, infiltration and sniping as well as how to handle the company's B.O.W.s. She is very well versed in C.Q.C. and blade fighting, and is a fairly accomplished sharpshooter.

-Master Lockpicking Skills: She has a professional set of lock picks, and is highly skilled in the dexterous use of them. She hasn't found a door that can keep her out, yet.
