Non adjustable sights; forward and rearward slide cocking serrations; non-ambidextrous safety, slide lock/release (right handed only); heavy spring; standard overall performance.

Background & Other Details:

-Created in late August of 1998 by Joseph "Joe" Kendo and Robert "Bob" Kendo of Kendo Gunshop specifically for the R.P.D.'s newly created S.W.A.T. Unit developed in the aftermath of the S.T.A.R.S. Suspension. Based similarly on the S.T.A.R.S. Samurai Edge, but far less eloquent; this weapon is little more a basic Military M9 with only minor customizations to fit the job. It's got a heavier slide and tight spring to handle overpressure (+P) rounds and holds a typical police and military magazine capacity of 15 rounds chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. It may also utilize civilian 10 round magazines.

Though basic, the Brother's Kendo still have an artistic design, with Raccoon City Police Shield Badges inlayed into the wooden checkered grips, and details of on the slide indicating it is a Custom Kendo Work and meant for the R.P.D. Special Weapons And Tactics Unit. Its labeled the 'Type Zero' as its still a prototype, and pretty much has little to no upgrades. The brothers were working on mass producing what they dubbed the SWAT M92F 'Elite II' which only a prototype has been created and outfitted to resemble a Samurai Edge, in the possession of R.P.D. S.W.A.T. Sergeant Benjamin Winters.

The Elite II is more in line with the Samurai Edge in quality, unlike this Type 0.

Most members of the SWAT were issued this weapon, but there are a few RPD officers not associated with the SWAT who have also been issued the firearm to replace their older M1935 Browning HP Handguns. Lieutenant Damian Handy was also issued this firearm but it was mostly kept at his apartment as a self defense weapon; utilizing one of the .45 ACP SWAT Issued 1911's or one of the rarer SWAT issued .50AE Desert Eagles instead. However, when the outbreak started, Damian made use of this starter 9mm handgun to escape his infested apartment and to aid and protect the civilians he's crossed paths with.
