History:
A hunched over half salamander half humanoid and frog looking creature from the breed of Hunter Gamma. It was a side project by Dr. James Ferral's team who created a variant of Hunter Gamma using the Japanese Giant Salamander as a base instead of frog dna. The result was a number of these creatures, with a large mouth and ability to swallow things smaller than it in a single gulp, hence its name. They have small teeth, but they only use it to ensnare its victims, and will easily swallow them down...







Its benefits of having eyes for sight, and resilient flesh that is immune to waste and radiation as well as being more durable against firearms. They can hang on trees, in order to take their victims by surprise. They can also slide through swamp-like areas and hide underwater. They tend to stay near bodies of water, but also prefer the woodlands surrounding Raccoon.



Having movement patterns similar to Ferral's Hunters, when engaged in combat, they will rush towards their prey, trying to dodge bullets if shot at, and will attack with their clawed paws and large mouth, or even do a slide attack where they hit them with their snout. As mentioned, Gulpers can also be seen hanging upside down on tree branches, dropping down to attack prey when they come near, sometimes able to swallow them instantly. Gulpers are also able to slowly regenerate from their injuries...

They are also seen dwelling near the trash-heap island, to the far end of Victory lake, near the Disposal Facility.



They are strong, strong enough to launch a sedan or truck at something they don't like! Ironically, its stomach is its fleshiest spot, where it is weak to attacks.

Skills:

-Swallow Whole: A MA-124 common trait. Can swallow a human whole with its expanding, rubbery jaws.

-Stealth (Underwater/Mud): Covered in mud or obscured by deep water, the Specimen can hide from even the most observant of prey in plain sight.

-Jump: It can jump high, unhindered by water or accumulated weight.

-Tail Hang: It can hang off ledges and trees with its prehensile tail.

-Healing: Slowly heals injuries over time.
