Fisson Street (South/New Prague)

An elbow shaped street that connect to Fox Street, Ennerdale Street, and a shortcut alley leading to Jack Street, as well as connected to Jack Street Proper further up the bend.

Sam was dragged by Khristian, their benefactor(s) continuing to snipe the undead from surrounding them, till Sam was the one yanking Khristian's hand! "Wait, we'll cut through here, its easier!" She explained, knowing this alley as a slight shortcut onto Fisson. She dragged her boyfriend through the alley, brick walls on either side of them, jumping over fallen trash cans and a broken bicycle. She had her Hipower on the ready, and as they turned onto the secluded Fisson Street, she let out a sigh of relief. "Shit... that was close!" She gasped, wiping her brow. They were surrounded by shops, and the street was hardly big enough for one vehicle, let alone two. She pulled him along onto one of the foot streets, and took a moment to catch her breath, the sound of an inhuman roar sending chills down her spine! Gunshots, several of them too, rang out nearby, possibly Jack Street where the Lieutenant drank at the local bar with Sgt. Winters. "God, this is crazy... what the hell's going on around here? God, I hope whatever that thing was isn't coming for us, we barely got by that bear!" Sam panted, her brown bangs draping over her brown eyes, sweat rolling down her blue ribbon tied around her neck.

“Yeah, Jesus, how’d we get tossed into a Romero movie? I swear, if we run into any monkeys I’m shooting first!” He replied, looking around for any incoming shamblers. “Sam, you know the city better than me, any idea where we could go?” Turning back to his lady love, no angry monkeys or such seen around the corners

She was getting her breath back, when she heard Khristian's statement. At first, she thought she got the reference, but then he threw her right the hell off. Romero and monkeys? What? "What?" She asked, slightly annoyed, slightly confused; overall still quite a bundle of nerves after being chased by a rabid bear, experiencing both a car accident and then a horde of the seemingly walking dead! She almost didn't hear his second question, before the words resonated in her head. "Well, we have to follow this street north, it'll lead us to Ennerdale, you know, Main street, and thats where the Police Station is. My superiors aught to be figuring out some sort of strategy."

“Right, sounds good. I’ll explain the reference later, when we’re not at risk of zombies.” He readjusted the bag slung over his shoulder. “Mind leading the way, Sam? This place still feels like a maze to me.”

She shook her head, chuckling. "Right..." She then turned to him. "Yeah, Raccoon is a maze, takes a bit of used to getting around; thankfully, we're not too far from the station from this street." She says, pointing to the Jasmine Chinese Restaurant she sometimes frequented after work or between shifts. "Its just a straight shot from here, and around the bend-" She pauses when she hears the loud shriek coming from Jack Street. "Jesus... what else is out here with us? I thought the mutant bear and these walking corpses were enough trouble!" She complained, grabbing the M3 she had taken from Cam's squad car and keeping it at the ready. There were more gun shots coming from that direction, and they would be seeing the fighting survivors soon enough, given how Jack Street merges with Fisson Street in two areas.

“Really hope who or whatever it is won’t be going after us. Maybe some of the other cops are nearby?” He looked back quick, then to his sides, before turning back to Sam. “Is it bad I hope your chief got chomped on?”

Sam smirked. "Is it worse that I want to agree with ya?" She glanced at him, batting her lashes. She looked back down the street, and readied her weapon. "I'm with ya on whatever that was... I think its time to move out of Raccoon after the morning we've had.."

Nods”Agreed, But that probably means back to Boston, doesn’t it? I may as well just let you use my car. I’d rather not drive in Massachusetts traffic again.”

Damian, shouldering Ben, followed by Captain Cahill, Brianna, Kiko and Giana entered Fisson street while the number of infected continued to grow behind them! Handy was sweating like a pig, his parted hair bangs slapping against his upper brow, his gun felt oily in his free hand's grasp. "We gotta keep moving!" he pressed, looking back once more at the undead, before turning his attention to a familiar face. "Sargent Kamura!" He yelled out, noticing the Asian officer with a sigh of relief. Thank goodness, more officers! He thought, and then noticed Kamura's boyfriend alongside her. Both were armed with shotguns... looking pretty armed to the teeth in general with a duffel bag close by! "You guys okay?" he asked.

"Frankly, anywhere is better at this point." Sam replied to Khristian, when her eyes caught sight of movement ahead of them, lifting her weapon before slowly lowering it again. "Lieutenant! Captain! Ben!" The Sargent exhaled waving her hands to her fellow officers. They were backed up by several other civilians, but all were splattered with blood, dirt and sweat. "You guys look like hell, what the fuck is happening in the city?!" She screamed.

"We don't have a fuckin' clue ourselves," Damian replied, looking around for more signs of the freaks. "but we really can't stick around here any longer! We need to keep moving, the station may be our only hope against these things!" He explained, pulling Ben along as he nodded up the street which should bring them straight to the Station if they followed along it!

He nodded. “Nice to have someone not trying to eat our faces off this time.” He quipped as he followed the others. Noticing how someone was leaning on Damian for support, he offered “I managed to salvage Sam’s first aid kit, might be able to help your friend when we get to the station.”

Damian nodded to Khristian... he thinks that was his name, they met before but Damian was pretty focused to the job. "Sounds good... here, take Ben for a moment..." He says, bringing Ben over to Khristian, the officer being shouldered by both Sam and Khritian as Damian headed over to a parked, seemingly wrecked squad car. He holstered his civilian beretta and took out a ring of keys that the higher up officers were given, that allowed them access to all squad cars and their internal armories. He opened the door, leaning over the seat to the passenger's side, and fiddled with the shotgun rack, pulling out a Remington 870 from it after he unlocked it. He opened the boot, walked around and took out a couple cases of 12 gauge shells, and began loading. "We have the ammunition now," he says mid load. "We just need to head up this street, and we'll be at the station in no time. Set up a defense and try to get survivors and a rescue plan established, sound good to everyone here? Captain?" He asked, blushing slightly at the fact he just took charge all of a sudden.

Cahill nodded. "Sounds about right to me, I would have said the same Lieutenant." The man replied, before walking over to reload the other 12 gauge shotguns in their group. "Okay people, need ammunition, grab it, anyone who doesn't want to shoot, you'll be hauling our ammo till we get to the station, if not, anyone grab what ya can, and make it quick!" Cahill barked.

"Yeah, sounds good." She says, walking over to the trunk and began loading her shotgun as well as Khristians. She handed her boyfriend a couple shells to carry in his pockets for load purposes, but if he continued to use the double barrel, it was perhaps wise to later invest in a side saddle... that is if they were in this city for the long haul. God I hope not... She thought, not wanting to remain in this God forsaken city much longer!

Ben began to feel like a liability relying on the others to assist him while the others were gathering ammo and preparing for the final push to the station Ben began feeling doubt in his mind he lent against a nearby wall so Sam and Khristian could gather ammo.

Ben closed his eyes for a moment focusing on his breathing "you've got this, stop feeling sorry for yourself and help the others" he quietly spoke to himself. He opened his eyes as he exhaled he looked up to the rest of the group "Okay guys, i'm good now, lets haul ass to the station". Ben reloaded his custom Elite II now ready to push on to the station.

The Lieutenant turns to Ben with a smirk. "Well said Sargent." He says, tossing his fellow officer the Remington he just loaded up. "We stick together, and we'll get back in one piece." He says to the lot, handing Ben shells as he passed by, taking this momentary reprieve to check his 9mm. Everything looked good to go, and he was about ready to ditch this place. Cahill spoke up: "Everyone, grab what you can quick, and prepare to move out. Just one more push to the station, like the Lieutenant says if we move as a team our chances of survival will be higher!"

The Captian loads up his SPAS 12. "Lieutenant take point, Sargent Kamura back him up," Cahill began. "Sargent Winters, you and I will act as rear guard. Everyone else stick to Lieutenant Handy and Sargent Kamura like glue, and don't stray!"

Damian turned to his superior and nodded, clicking the safety off his handgun. "Ben, my nightstick?" He called out, having handed it to the man when they made a mad dash out of the apartment complex, his hand open and ready to catch.

Khristian stashed the shells in the pocket of his jacket, studying the other survivors Doesn’t seem like anyone has any bites on them, would rather avoid that sort of surprise. He walked up along with Sam to Officer Handy.

Kiko took this moment of reprieve to stock up on ammunition for her Glock 17 with aid between the three groups. Handy and Winters had a bunch of 9mm rounds, and she was thankful for that. She turned to the new ones, Sam and her companion. "I'm Kiko, nice to meet all of ya in the beginning of the apocalypse." She chuckled, hand loading the glock magazine. She turned to Cahill as he told them to get ready and slipped into the middle of the crowd as suggested.

Following Kiko's lead she introduced herself as well. "I'm Giana... heya Sam, haven't seen ya in a while... good to see you made it." She smiled, before handing her mossberg to the Lieutenant. "Here, its better if you use it anyway since you're taking the lead. I'm absolute rubbish." She smiled faintly, before turning to the others. She had the five shot chief special with not many .38 bullets thanks to Sylvia running of with the majority of the ammunition. She only had about three shots...

"Good to see you Giana as well, this is my boyfriend, Khristian." Sam replies, turning to Khristian with a smile. "Nice to meet you as well Kiko." She says to the leather clad biker. Cahill's order was clear and she nodded to him. "Okay, I'm ready..." She pumps the shotgun and turns to Khristian. "Stay behind me, don't stray off please... I can't afford to lose you." She pleaded, rubbing his shoulder before walking ahead of the group to back up Handy. "Well, this looks like a rightly fucked up mess we got ourselves into Lieutenant..." She sighed, before noting he looked... pale. Something had happened since he showed up she imagined. "You gonna be okay, L-T?" She asked, jabbing his shoulder lightly.

Damian turned to Giana who handed him her shotgun. After a moment of deliberation, he nods and takes it. "Thanks Giana." He says with a half smile, before he felt Sam jabbing his shoulder and swiveled his head towards her. "Hm...? Nothing... its nothing. Don't worry about it. There was a big creature, not like these... zombies. It, well..." he shrugged. "Lets, lets just move on for the time being. Captain's orders after all." He replied, pumping the shotgun before sweeping the street ahead of them. He waited for Cahill's order to move out.

Cahill all the while, checked his watch, and turned to the remaining survivors. "Is everyone ready to go? If so, we're movin' out now! Winters, back me up." Cahill says taking up rear security, while Sam and Damian took point.

“I’ll keep close, no worries there.” He replied, then hearing the Lieutenant mention some sort big creature. Not like the zombies? Strange. Need to compare notes at the station, That sounds weird. Then again, zombie apocalypse. Still though.... He thought to himself as he followed behind Sam

She blinked, then shivered. "Y-yeah... Khris and I encountered something not like these...zombies either." She thought of the large bear and its disintegrated face... She shook her body violently, and readied her shotgun, acting beside Damian at the point, when Khristian popped in:

She turned to Khris with a smile. "Good, we don't need to end up a meal for these monsters, heh." She chuckled.

Giana didn't fuss when Sam ignored her, there were pressing matters after all. Still, the big band of survivors now dwindled down to Kiko, Ben, Damian, Sam, Khristian, Bri, Cahill and the three other civilians she did not recognize... she was hoping this otherwise easy trek to the station would be quick and painless... they shouldn't have to be afraid to walk the streets, it wasn't even a block away! "I'm r-ready!" Giana promoted, pumping her fists, the small Ladysmith Revolver in her hand gripped tightly- finger away from the trigger of course.

Kiko raised a brow at Giana. "Well, ya'll heard blondie, lets get this train on the road before we're caught off guard again!"

The young Asian inspected their crowd... saw no bites, or major injuries of note... so far. Ben looked a little worse for wear though, but otherwise stable and alive. "Lets get going!" she urged.
