Ben felt himself being pulled back slightly he turned his head back to the huge lizard only to see it's tongue extending towards them "Oh fuck!" Ben flinched but luckily the beast's tongue stopped just before it connected and then flung back into the beast's mouth it then let out another mighty roar and vanished back into the hole it came from. Blood splattered, limbs blew away, and two of the zombies fell headless to the street! She wanted to puke, this was all too bizarre! But worse yet... she began to wonder if there was anything else to worry about in the city, if there were more monsters like that one that ducked down into the sewers! "We-we we need to get to the station!" She screamed, shaking with adrenaline, pumping the next shell into the chamber.

As Ben looked up he saw a few Zombies headed towards them but before he could react Giana already had them in her sights and blew them all over the street “Nice Shot” Ben remarked Ben turned back to Damian and Giana “Right lets get to the station and figure out some sort of plan” Ben proceeded forward with Damian, Giana and the few civilians that were still with them.

Damian shouldered Ben, nodding. "Yeah, we can collect our sanity when we get back, everyone, follow us!" He orders, raising his Beretta at the closest zombie with one hand, the other arm aiding Ben as he lead them towards Fisson street again. "Helluva shot." he added, following Ben's remark to Giana's attack. They were only a couple blocks away from the station, and this direct route would get them there in no time flat! "Shit, these things keep coming... where they keep coming from?!" He screamed in anger, firing his 9mm a couple more times at approaching zombies.

"Th-thanks..." Giana replied shakily, following their lead. She knew the way to the station herself, but in this mess, it was best to stick together as much as one possibly could. She couldn't feel the developing bruise against her shoulder as they quickly walked up Jack Street. But the creatures... they were coming at them at every which way! "Oh God!" She screamed, her voice squeaky with fear! Raising the shotgun again, she clears the officer's a path.

BOOM!

More zombies fell back from the multiple pellets, some falling, others taking the blow and continued to advance towards them! "Th-they're everywhere!" Giana shrieks!

There were suddenly multiple shots, pellets flying, and 9mm's penetrating the bodies of the zombies as another police officer enters the fray! He pumps the shotgun and fires again before handing it back to Brianna, pulling out his Browning HiPower and fires into the skull of another zombie. The blond man turns to his officers. "Lieutenant! Sargent!" Cahill calls out, before evading the grasp of another zombie, grabbed him and threw him into an approaching crowd, knocking them over like dominoes! "Thought you'd guys needed some backup!" He says, providing them with backup. They would see Kiko and Brianna along with him, as they joined Ben, Damian and Giana's side!

Kiko fired the Glock at another approaching zombie, before turning to see a familiar face. "Ah, Officer Winters! No sleeping on the job now!" She chuckled, though her laugh seemed to be mixed humor, mixed anxiety.

Ben let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Cahill arrive with two females one who was familiar to Ben he turns to Kiko with a slight chuckle "Aha sleep i wish. I see you've calmed down after your little incident last night don't be trying to smash these fuckers in the face you might lose a hand" Ben then turned to Cahill "Good to see ya captain, we've been hit with quite the Shitstorm as you can see"

Damian turned his head to the new arrivals, and couldn't help but feel relieved. "Thank God the Cavalry is here!" He chuckled, noting the two other women with Captain Cahill. "Cap, I advise we cut the introductions for now and continue en route to the station; these fucker's are coming out of the wood work!" the Lieutenant advised, bringing up his handgun and firing a round into another passing zombie. They didn't have the ammo to take them on in the streets... they had to hurry!

He begins dragging Ben up the street towards Fisson's intersection to make that point. "C'mon! We can't stick around any longer!" he exclaimed, looking back at Giana and the others!

Giana turned at the sight of the new arrivals with their guns blazing, one of them being an officer who was friendly with Handy and Winters. "Oh thank heavens!" She exhaled, running over to the group, not wanting to be left behind! The zombies were getting more restless, their number growing, and they began to form a small horde which took up much of Jack Street's width! "Oh crap! They're everywhere!" The blonde screamed, firing another shell into their ranks, backing up into Briana, before turning to face the officers.

The Lieutenant turned to the growing number of undead at Giana's scream and grimaced. "Cap, I suggest we retreat to Fisson Street, immediately!" He exhaled, pulling Ben along, and leading everyone into Fisson Street!

Sylvia Gray wrote:Sylvia watched the scene unfolding around her after her sequence of shots from her double barrel pistol. She turned to face the group of survivors coming from her right, and then turned to the officer and Giana who came from the alley where she had ditched them. She could see looks of anger and concern, worry and fear among all present! "Up yours!" She spat, turning around, heading for another doorway ahead of her-pushing a zombie aside as she did! Especially now, there was no way she was going to die here!

She shouldered the heavy metal door, pushing her way to another alley, leading towards Fisson Street's Shipping Factory. She recalled there was a door somewhere to the right in this particular back alley, but she didn't know where it lead to. Probably a back entrance to that grocery store on Fisson Street, I can duck through there... yeah! She thought, as she did just that. The planks beneath her rattled as she took a flight of steps, and turned left through that door...

Back to Ben, Damian, Donna and Giana...

A scream pierced the chaos around the survivors! Followed by two gun shots...

He knew that if the entire group were to run after her in a narrow space like that particular backalley, the monsters would kill them all. He turns to Officer Winters and Officer Handy and loaded his gun. "Watch my sister, make sure these folks get to the Police Station! I'll go after the girl, just keep moving! I'll bring her to the station!" He barked, running through the back alley to find Sylvia.

Back to Sylvia Gray and the 'Burly Man'...

The scream came from Sylvia who had taken the door, finding herself surrounded from both sides by zombies! She had no choice after firing both .38s in her derringer and now... found herself trapped. This wasn't a back entrance, no... it was a God damned root cellar!! It had supplies, mold, tools and other things used for maintenance work! She swiveled around on her boots, her bright eyes wide as zombies began to enter after her! She broke the gun open, pulled the shells out, and slid in two more haphazardly. She didn't have time, there were too many, maybe eight, maybe ten! The room was cramped, no where to run, no where to hide! "Oh fuck, God please I can't die down here!" She screamed, thinking about the officers and Giana... how she should have left with them!

She backed up, her back against the edge of the desk, her fingers shakily loading the shells, her large eyes fixated on the monsters in front of her! She was going to die...

Then there was a booming sound, the burly man from earlier in the cap came rushing down the steps. "Hold on!" He cried out, swinging the Benelli shotgun like a club, smashing through the zombies and clearing a path for Sylvia. Astonished, she raised her pistol and fired a shot at one of the zombies closest to him, saw his meaty hand reach out to her and she took it. She found herself suddenly climbing the steps, pulled through the mess of zombies who's fingers scraped across her body as she was pulled through the crowd! She was then up the stairs, her heavy boots clunking up the steps when she heard the man cry out! "Ah!!"

She turned around, and with wide eyes, saw him struggling with many of the zombies still alive down there, fending them off with the shotgun as a barrier, his eyes glancing to hers... pleading for help.

She left him. She turned away, running back to the alley and slammed the heavy iron door shut behind her! Sylvia was pallid, breathing heavily, sweat rolling down her face and neck as she felt the door bang onto her back from the few zombies who chased her. She could hear that burly man cry out for help, and then...

"NO! Argh,ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" His death cries becoming gurgled as she suspected his throat was torn out, the sound of him choking on his own blood could be heard even through the barrier of the metal door and masonry... she felt the banging on her back lessen as the zombies now turned their head to fresh meat in the cellar below...

Sylvia stood there, shaken, her body drained of color. She had just killed this man... this man who went out of his way to save her life... and repaid it by leaving him for dead... not even the courtesy of shooting him. She was wide eyed, traumatized... and for a moment time felt as though it stilled. She eventually pulls herself away from the door, the sound of not too distant gunfire echoed from the direction of the station, where the others were heading. She didn't know what to do, but she knew she couldn't stay here. She loaded the derringer and moved on, the sounds of the zombies feasting off the burly stranger's body below her... still echoing in her mind...
