Fitness Center and Gymnasium

Chris was worried for a moment, but when the survivors didn't shoot back at him, he eased up. Phew... that was too close! I don't like the idea of surviving against these monsters only to end up being shot by a human... He thought, as he lowers his guard. He saw Amanda walk up to one of the survivors with familiarity and Rebecka placing Zoey on a nearby bench. He walked over to the officer, who was still trying his radio, about to ask him of the situation before realizing the man was losing his patience with the device. Lets not poke that bear... He thought, and instead looked about to see what he could do to help around.

"You need to hurry, Zoey, our friend- she was bitten by a giant snake! She needs help!" Amanda elaborated, before pointing to the woman across Rebecka's back!

"Amanda??" Bianca replied, just as amazed to see her best friend! The two hugged tightly before Bianca pulled her away, holding her at arms length. "What the hell are you doing here?? Haven't you seen whats been happening around here??" She questioned, one of many she wanted to ask! However, she quickly was directed to their friend Zoe, who was in need of medical assistance! Bianca turned to where Amanda pointed, and quickly made her way over to the other woman, and Zoey who was being laid out on one of the folding benches.

It was dicey there for a moment, with the thought she and everyone else were about to be shot to death which thankfully did not happen! Rebecka wasted no time as she hurriedly brought Zoey over to a bleecher to lay her out. "She was bit by a massive snake, we think its venom of some sort- but its not anything we've ever seen before, hell, the snake which bit her was something else!" She exclaimed.

She looked the woman over, and then heard the woman who was holding her before say she was bitten by a giant snake. "Just... how big?" She asked, glancing up before checking Zoey's wounds.

With the reunion short lived but relieving, Amanda stepped back and looked at Bea with a grim look. "Big. I mean, absolutely massive." the woman began. "The thing swallowed her whole, for a short time. I don't shink she fully made it to the stomach... but she got bit on the way down..." She explained, as she took Bea's arm and dragged her over to Zoey.

Rin out of curiosity, approached the new group while the others had kept their distance for the most part. Officer Bird Brain was screaming some nonsense about not being able to help, but Rin ignored most of that drivel as she looked Zoey over.

"It was like a giant cobra, anaconda plus sized!" Rebecka shouted, before gripping her fists tight. "I shoulda... it... she shouldn't have..!" She shivered in place, trying not to cry. "Please... someone do something! She needs to live!" She begged, looking up into Bea's eyes; her own were watering and leaking tears across her soft, pale face.

Heather kept her distance from the group she'd been travelling with for the short time, walking over to one of the bleachers to rest and recover after taking that nasty fall in the Dormitory. Best to keep myself out of these affairs... she told herself. I don't know these people, I don't wanna come across insensitive to the death of their friend if she does die. Best to lie low now, lick my wounds and wait it out... Heather closed her eyes, wincing as she tried to lean back.

Chris was going to converse with the police officer, but quickly realized the man was under enough pressure as is and wasn't going to be of any use talking to by the way he was shouting and reacting unprofessionally. Granted... he couldn't fully blame the guy. Who was prepared for a zombie apocalypse? Before yesterday, they were a fucking Hollywood money-maker! Instead, his eyes fell to the woman who... well, fell.

"So you guys were the ones kickin' zombie ass out there, huh?" The man says as he approaches the newcomers. "Oh shit, one of yous hurt? I-I'll shut up now, I'll come talk when things get more settled." He says as soon as he sees the familiar face of Zoe, who looked like she was at death's door. He backed away, not wanting to react to that. He knew her, she was fun to hang out with time to time along with Nelly, Amy and Jun. That was when they all used to hang out with Cory and Chester before Jun got into some serious shit thanks to that dealer, Mario DeLuka. He didn't care for that sonvabitch, and hoped he was shambling with those undead freaks out there or worse- their lunch!

He wandered over to Chris and Heather, not that he knew who they were yet, but the guy looked familiar. "Yo, name's Tyrone King, good to see other survivors kickin' ass out there." He says jabbing Chris' shoulder in a friendly manner. "Sorry about your friend there, Zoe's one of the good ones. I hope she'll get better soon." Ty replied solemnly.

"Will do." Heather replied to Chris, before turning to Tyrone. "Heather Haley Hill, triple H haha!" She replied with better spirits. She frowned soon after though, and shook her head. "I don't know Zoe, Rebecka, Amanda nor Jack and even Chris here too well. I just met them when I was passing through the school, looking to be helpful to other survivors while kicking some ass." She replied honestly.

Bianca was dragged by her wrist over to the injured Zoey, and began looking her over while getting the information of the bite and situation by Rebecka and Amanda combined.

Bianca looked into Rebecka's eyes and placed a hand on the other woman's shoulder. "I'll do what I can... but judging from the animal you describe, I'm not sure if I can be of much assistance." She said with a frown. She removed her hand and looked over Zoey, feeling her clammy skin with the back of her hand, shaking her head. "Its definitely a reaction to a poisonous substance, but I'm unsure what it could be given the genus of snake is... well, frankly, completely beyond the comprehension of my current knowledge and perhaps even scientifically speaking..." she began, sounding grim. "And without the proper equipment and fresh samples, making an antivenom is already out of the question especially since we don't have that kind of time anyway." She sighed.

"Well, its a pleasure to meet ya both, anyway. I really do, if you get her and Elena going its funny to watch. Though, if Nelly's around, she'd be on the sidelines takin' bets on which gal would pull the other's hair out first. Nelly and Elena fight like cats n' dogs, shits both ridiculous and scary at the same time!" He chuckled, before taking a seat. "God, I hope they alright out there man." He sighed.

There's gotta be something we can do, right?" the woman asked, desperately looking for an answer as she grabbed Bianca's shoulders gently.

I'm not about to let another person close to me die because of my failure to act!" She spat! "So, back the fuck off!" Rebecka pushed Amanda back, fire in her eyes!

She did not just...! Amanda thought, looking at Rebecka with an appalled look! "Jesus, why don't you?? Yeah, I'm an outsider and I shouldn't even fucking be here, but I came to check on my friend and now my priority is to get us the hell out of this shit hole! I get it, you don't want another death looming on your head but for Christ sake don't take that anger out on us you psycho bitch!" Amanda said, shoving Becky back! "For all we know? Jack's still alive and you got his truck keys, right? There's a chance Zoey can be saved elsewhere, we have a way out of here!"

Rin planned to walk away when Rebecka and the other woman started getting into it. However, the mention of Jack, a seemingly innocuous name made her think of the only Jack she knew. "Wait, this wouldn't be Jack Cavanaugh you both are talking about, would it?" She asked, especially since she heard the mention of a truck. Jack had a big truck meant for the bush, it was his dad's who had it transported from his native Australia in the 80s or so Jack told her once or twice. The thing ran off diesel and could fit a small army...

Rebecka felt Amanda pushing her back, but having been unable to keep her cool anymore she was about to get right into it with the woman when Rin spoke up:

"Ohhh shiiit. Maybe I spoke too soon about cat fights?" Tyrone sighed. "Can we all jus get along? I mean, c'mon man! Brothers and sisters be eatin' each other out there and you two are bickerin' like fuckin' house wives'n shit!" complained the big guy as he got up to play mediator. He was used to breaking up fights, as a volunteer for the RPD Youth League Center. "Ladies, ladies! Simmer down! Simmer down! Y'all got no reason to-"

The useless cop was cursing to himself as he made his way over to break up the fight he should have stopped sooner. All the while Rin, the youngest between the two women (at the age of 20), calmly applied her hands between both women's sternums and pushed. The light push was enough to send both women sprawling back as Rin got between them both. "You two should be ashamed! Flared tempers will solve nothing, we're all in this shit together and we need to work like a fucking team." She said in a stern voice, looking between Rebecka and Amanda. "There are other people with problems here, not just your own. Our chances of survival are better if we work together. If we separate, we will become outnumbered and will surely perish. We need to calm our nerves while we can and save that energy when fighting these ungodly beasts and reanimated corpses." Rin stated, before looking down at the suffering Zoey, then to Amanda. "You said something about Jack, yes?" She then turned to Rebecka. "...and truck keys? May you show them to me?" She asked, needing to clarify.

Chris stood up and was about to intervene when Rin did. However, much to the expectations of those who knew Rin, even Chris himself who only knew her by appearance and reputation alone, Rin surprised everyone:

"Damn, Rin's both wise and fit. Not to typecast, but the woman's fuckin' Samurai." He chuckled. The mention of Jack again made him raise a brow as he folded one arm and propped the other to hold his chin up. This Jack guy gets around... he from the campus? He pondered. He knew a couple of Jacks, but no Jack Cavanaugh. Could be a nickname as well but he didn't really any Johns to be honest.

The world seemed to stand still after Rebecka's voice echoed throughout the gymnasium. "-welp, shit, she dead." Tyrone says, hands up, turning around. He didn't want to see the result of Rin vs anyone as the woman was built like a mountain on Mars.

Chris stood up and was about to intervene when Rin did. However, much to the expectations of those who knew Rin, even Chris himself who only knew her by appearance and reputation alone, Rin surprised everyone:

"Damn, Rin's both wise and fit. Not to typecast, but the woman's fuckin' Samurai." He chuckled. The mention of Jack again made him raise a brow as he folded one arm and propped the other to hold his chin up. This Jack guy gets around... he from the campus? He pondered. He knew a couple of Jacks, but no Jack Cavanaugh. Could be a nickname as well but he didn't really any Johns to be honest.

Tyrone turned around and raised his brows, nodding as he stood beside Chris with his arms folded. "Well, I'll be damned, she's the bigger girl among them- in spite of being the smallest in stature, haha!" Ty laughed heartily before picking up Chris' comment. "Oh, quite literally. You ain't wrong bro. Rin's Pops and Uncle run the Kendo Gunshop after all. Its right near the Youth Center I work at, so I see her and a buncha others all the time. But the cops say they made a special handgun for the S.T.A.R.S., those super cops we used to have around town. Said the gun had a sheen like a Samurai's blade, so they called it the 'Samurai Edge'. A really pimped out Beretta M9 used by the military with some serious bling! I'm pretty sure it would have impressed even Special Forces if the Kendo Bros decided to work for Uncle Sam. Shame, we could use guns like that right about now..." he sighed.

Amanda was taken back, literally, by the force of the woman's hand as she interjected and scolded them both. Great, now I feel a child... She thought, blowing air into her loose bangs over her face thanks to grappling with Rebecka who had lost all sense of rationality at this point. Then, the woman asked about Jack. She heard him say Jack Cavanaugh earlier, so she blinked at this and after giving the woman a glance over...

"Wait, are you Rin? Yeah, Rebecka has his keys." Amanda answered.

Oh crap... Rebecka thought, looking over at the human mountain, Rin Kendo and thinking that a single punch from her would likely remove her head clean from her busty torso! However, instead...

Rebecka was relieved and equally amazed at just how strong Rin really was! I'm glad she didn't actually hit me! She thought at first, before her death glare between Rin and Amanda softened. Rebecka bowed her head as Rin berated them for acting selfish and childish. "Eh..." Rebecka sighed, running a hand through her cropped bangs before glancing up at the pair with a hand on her hip. "Yeah, I've got them." She says, lifting them out of her pocket. "Jack said he was looking for you, Rin. Something about your father wanting you to be at the police station. He was coming here to take you, but we got separated when the snake attacked..." She says with a frown, tossing Rin the keys. "Last we saw, he was being chased by the snake into the Classroom Building's basement. He said he'd meet us here. Sorry, I just got too emotional to tell you when I saw you. I was really... hopeful we could do something for Zoey." Rebecka sighed, bowing her head.
