Body/Physical Appearance: Appearance is that of a vampire bat that has been grotesquely mutated to abnormal sizes. Its body has become more leathery in appearance, with patches of brown fur spread throughout its body. Its large eyes are red, and visible red veins are visible across its entire body. The wings flaps are tattered but still functional, and its teeth and claws have grown more feral and vicious in appearance.

A horribly mutant bat that has escaped captivity during the chaos of the Raccoon City Outbreak. Unlike a certain giant bat that was defeated in July by the likes of Billy Cohen and Rebecca Chambers, this creature was not the result of accidental exposure. In fact, this named creature was the result of more than 9 months of study within the city, to test the long term effects of the T-Virus on a Vampire Bat.  

Named after Camazotz (/kɑːməˈsɒts/ from Mayan /kama ˈsots’/) (alternate spellings Cama-Zotz, Sotz, Zotz), a bat spirit at the service of the lords of the underworld in Mayan Mythology. Camazotz also means "death bat" in the Kʼicheʼ language. In Mesoamerica generally, the bat is often associated with night, death, and sacrifice.

In spite of its grotesque mutations, Camazotz' larger eyes has given it better sight than the common bat, and its senses of hearing have increased astronomically. Its vicious claws can easily rend steel into ribbons and is one of the more swifter flying B.O.W.s in the city.
