History:
An experienced senior detective within the R.P.D., and one of the officers in charged in solving the grisly murders happening in Raccoon City in the summer of ‘98. He trained Vincent Springfield, his former and younger partner, but was unable to help him get over his depression. He is a stern, but loyal police officer and is friendly with Samantha Kamura, as he knew her grandfather when Mike started working at the police station as a patrol officer. He treats the woman as if she was his daughter, and often times keeps her out of trouble. As stated, he was one of the detectives tasked with the Cannibal Murder Case plaguing Raccoon City.

Unbeknownst to the station, Michael is taking bribes from Brian Irons, due to incurred debts. He's had to dirty his hands a few times for the Chief, and though he doesn't enjoy it, knows that the fat man pays well...
