She didn't argue, and he was right. Time was not on their side. She glanced back and could already see the beast recovering, and quickly she ran to the back of the truck and grabbed hold of the side, pulling herself up and into the bed! "Oof!" She grunted, hitting the bed's interior on her back! She knocked onto the cabin and screamed: "DRIVE! FUCKING DRIVE!!"

The creature shook its head, its one good eye glaring at the idling truck as it let out a growl and began to advance to the truck!

"GROOOOWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!"

Its inhuman scream pierced the night air, crushing trees and brush as it proceeded towards the truck, intent on flipping it!
