-Amandus Gustoff's LP 08: A Lange Pistole 08 or LP 08, aka the "Artillery Luger", an old school toggle locked 9x19mm luger handgun that belonged to Ferral's Uncle Gustoff from his time during WW2. A pistol with a long barrel for increased range and reduced recoil and adjustable sights that allow Ferral to be a crackshot without much training.

History:

An antagonistic old man who has spirited himself away from other researches for many years now in Umbrella Raccoon Division. He was once the rising star Scientist, paired among the likes of Dr. Marcus, Edward Ashford... but seemed to fall away into relative obscurity, credited with many cooperative efforts with Marcus and other researchers, but not specifically credited for any large programs in the beginning of his career.

Credited with the creation of the S-Virus, he is was actually a Co-Creator, working alongside his fellow scientists Dr. Ricardo Sanchez (for whom the S-Virus was named after), Dr. Edward Holden, Dr. Tia (fill in name) and Dr. Aaron King. Due to his shortcomings with the virus before hand, they were brought in to aid him in his research. Together, they developed a virus and a cohabiting parasite from Sanchez' native lands in Spain to create the S-Virus and S-Virus Symbiote, a miracle cure that halted and repaired the effects of cancer and even halted aging! There was more potential for this project... However, when he noticed that his team was getting far more credit than he, and due to Edward's refusal to subject his own blood for further research, an agitated murdered his team and covered up their deaths as the result of a 'Laboratory Accident'. He horribly mutated the lot into their respective monsters, a Gigantosarus, the Tiamat, and Avaix. Sanchez was never found... He was given full credit for the virus strain's creation, and also created an accelerant known as 'M' to fast forward the mutation of the virus.

Much of Ferral's life is unknown, those who got close to him like Edward Holden, know that he had a dark upbringing as a fugitive from Germany while he was still a young boy; his parents killed during V2 Rocket bombing of London. He was orphaned for a time, till his Uncle Amandus took him in, unbenknownst to him that his uncle was a fleeing Nazi scientist till they reached the safety of Cuba where his Uncle continued to conduct research on parasites. What happens later is uncertain, but his uncle was murdered and the young man was deported to America soon after. He somehow gets established with Sir Spencer, CEO of Umbrella Inc, and gets a job soon after... especially when he shows the man his Uncle's research.

In the present, 1998, the man has managed to keep his hold on his lab, despite the failure of the other researchers. Not quite finished with his research, the old man wanders the sewers... looking for 'willing' *cocks gun* test subjects...

Skills:
Umbrella Senior Researcher: He knows almost every known creation of Umbrella, the study of the individual viruses among others; and had a hell of a time getting into Birkin's data, but had without raising suspicion.

Imprinted: Any of his creations, mostly his Gammas, are imprinted not to hurt him when they encounter him. He can also give them orders and they will obey. Most believe the Gamma and Lurker projects failed because of diminished brain activity, but it was due to Ferral's own meddling to ensure he could create his own army of amphibian creatures to conduct separate research and further developments on.

Parasite-Infusion: His parasites he's festered with keep him alive for so long and look younger than he is. He is physically stronger than most people his real age and his mind remains intact despite his degrading body.

Reduced Stamina: Due to his ailments of Jaundice, and the lung and liver, he cannot run as quickly as he used to.

Brain Swelling: His disease still racks his body with pain, and the brain swelling that would have killed him has instead caused lapses of sanity. He may be telling you he's not going to kill you, before finding himself standing in a pool of your blood without realizing why.
