History:
A self proclaimed ladies man, Scott Walsh is a hot headed police officer within the Raccoon City Police Department. He joined the RPD in 1993, coming out of the police academy as a fresh new recruit and ready for some action. He was a rather committed officer, and considered himself a bit of a hotshot, till the following year when his soon to be younger rival, Officer Damian Handy joined the station. Handy managed to quickly out pace him, in various fields, especially after he single handedly stopped a robbery-murder at the local museum, and took a bullet for his efforts. Scott was ‘unimpressed’ with him, and in the years that followed was a bit shocked to find out the younger man became his superior!
Though there is mild resentment towards Lieutenant Handy in terms of career and a few other personal reasons, Scott harbors no ill will towards the younger man, but often teased the Lieutenant for his inability to join the S.T.A.R.S.. When the STARS were massacred at the Spencer Estate, he had told Handy he was ‘Glad he didn’t become a STARS member, or he’d have one less person to tease’. How Handy himself thinks of Walsh is unknown to him, however.
As stated, he’s a rather arrogant officer and has total confidence in his abilities as an officer and male human being. He ‘proclaims’ to be quite the successful ladies man, in spite of being single since he joined the RPD, with only the occasional fling here and there. He flirts often with his fellow female officers, but hardly gets much attention back from them. He carries a dented old golden coin that probably be worth more than a car if it were in better condition. The coin has been passed down through the Walsh family since his Great Grandfather’s time as a soldier in WW1. His father was the last bearer of the coin, who also was a police officer till he retired in ‘96, and became a security guard for the Raccoon General Hospital. Aside from chasing women and bragging, he’s also an avid fisherman and hunter.
During the outbreak, Scott took a squad car out to the Hospital to collect his father with the intent of leaving the city. His father however, sacrificed himself to save Scott and the other survivors when zombies showed up and broke into Raccoon General. Scott now wanders the halls and corridors, looking for survivors to bring back to the Precinct, where he believes it may be safe...
Misc.-
Skills:
-Marksmanship: Growing up hunting and his career where its mandatory to keep his skills up to snuff, Scott’s a pretty decent shot concerning firearms and accuracy.

-Tracking: He can make out tracks left by animals and orientate himself when in dense woodland.
-Local Knowledge: He can point out helpful herbs and other medicinal plants that grow in the area, and what to avoid.
