Linked to the B2F Passage, the second basement laboratory is a private lab installed under orders of Umbrella Inc. This room contains a blood chiller where blood packs are stored, and a doorway leading into the Fixed Temperature Laboratory. The private study in question was the observation of human blood when mixed with strains of the T-Virus taken from infected leeches. There are also various notes and memos referring to a Doctor James Ferral as well.
