Modified .45-70 Henry's for Arklay County Ranger use. 20 inch long barrel, full sized tube (allowing 8+1 magazine), peep sight, hooded and vibrant orange front blade glow sight; stainless or blued steel finish; can be mounted with lever-rifle scopes.

Background & Other Details:

A large order of these weapons were purchased by the Arklay County Sheriff's department to equip fire watch and park rangers for their patrol of the rather hostile mountains and forests of the Arklay area. A long barreled, high capacity, .45-70 Government lever-rifle was developed by Henry Repeating Arms and modified by MacLead's gunshop to suit the needs of the rangers. So popular it became, that hunters often order the weapon through MacLead's in the present. Though still somewhat rare to find compared to something like a Winchester 30-30, the rifle is found in Raccoon City as well as in the Ranger cabins.
