Background & Other Details:

A somewhat rare, lever-action shotgun that is only 'rare' due to the convenience of modern pump action and semi-automatic shotguns. Created by the Winchester Firearms Company in 1887, where it gets its name from, the 1887 is a cowboy-esque repeating firearm chambered for a potent 12 gauge shot shell, slugs, birdshot, or custom shells. Some have longer barrels, giving them excellent range, while the mares leg variant allows one to fire the shotgun one handed and with a sawn off barrel, making the best use of buckshot. Not too uncommon in Raccoon City given its hunting community.
