Specifications:
Its more than a gun, its a key. A highly modified, embellished, bronze gold plated desert eagle with a picatinny top rail and under mount built into both the frame and barrel of the weapon. The barrel is ported with four vents on each side, with a beautifully embellished slide and fixed barrel. The frame is tungsten, with decorated bronze gold/rose gold adornments and an engraved trigger. The hammer is also made of bronze gold/rose gold, heavily modified to resemble a 'Squirrel's tail' with deep ridges to allow one to thumb back the hammer easily. The dovetail is extended for extra safety and a better two hand grip, the grips are mother of pearl, form fitted with large bronze medallions of a squirrel holding a nut. The front and rear sights are windage adjustable, with a three bead orange/red fluorescent night sight/glow sights. The magazine holds 7 rounds, and uses any Desert Eagle magazine chambered in .50 AE. Can equip a pistol scope/sight, flashlight or laser pointer device, or any device that can fit onto a large frame pistol's rails.


 

Background & Other Details:

Another personal weapon created for Dr. Reiri Kamura. It is a very flashy weapon like her hold out pistol but has more use beyond being a tool for self defense. In all actuality, the medallions on either side of the weapon, and the gun itself, are part of a complex key used to gain entry to parts of Dr. Kamura's laboratory under the Raccoon City Dam. This change of security was due to the death of her partner and fellow colleague, Dr. Hinako O'Neil in the 80's, and the destruction of their joint laboratory. Before the outbreak however, the weapon/key was stolen by a cat burglar from Japan, but was ultimately left behind then seized as evidence before being sent to the RPD Evidence Lockers...
