Background & Other Details:
A modern version of the Colt S.A.A. famed by gunslingers and cowboys of old. This modern reproduction instead fires modern day .45 ACP cartridges. They aren't too common around Raccoon, but MacLeads and Kendo do offer some for sale. The Chief Warden of Douglas Prison, Raymond Taylor (who is also a well known philanthropist and an Umbrella Representative), carries a pair of these fine weapons for personal use and has garnered a bit of a reputation for his 'eccentrics' carrying them about in a shoulder holster and a cowboy style holster. His skill with the pair is also something to speak of, as he performs tricks and all sorts of juggling acts with them as well as pull off tricky, long distance shots. Most people simply 'fan' the hammer, and spew the relatively small capacity cylinder in one setting; Raymond however fires them like a true gunman. He takes his time, and makes all 12 of his bullets count. Thankfully, the .45 ACP cartridge is popular in Raccoon, so there's plenty of ammo around to hone one's mastery of the gun...
