Background & Other Details:
A weapon developed from the ground up by Umbrella's Weapon and Technology Division's department head and chief field technician Leland Irvine with assistance from Green Umbrella. It is a custom, Anti-Tank "Rifle" (more of a Cannon really...) that fires custom made bullets that are based on the 20×102mm Vulcan cartridge used in the M61 Vulcan cannon.


The cannon is a man-portable weapon capable of firing semi-automatically but with a pneumatic, piston based ejection system that gives it a significant delay in its cadence and allows the weapon to fire repeatedly without much worry of overheating its barrel. The weapon is somewhat cumbersome to handle due to its weight and though it's meant to make full use of its bipod and rear monopod, it can be fired from the shoulder due to its recoil absorbing system which transfers most of the blow back force into ejecting the spent cartridge which flies out of the top of the weapon. A magazine cut off keeps the weapon from cycling the next round till the spent cartridge leaves the chamber, and only cycles once the action slides back into place, free of obstruction.





As such a complicated firearm like this one isn't too easy to find. It was developed for the purpose, however, of eliminating Tyrant Class B.O.W.s and handling the 'Primal 3' of Ferral's Laboratory. It has, been recorded, to be successful in eliminating a T-001 Tyrant with a single shot to its body.
