Single-Action/Double Action, compact size, trench/gutter sight with a modified glow front blade sight, five shot cylinder, smooth trigger, two inch rifled barrel.

Background & Other Details:
-Prior to the R.P.D. being moved into the Raccoon Art Museum in 1969, and the adoption of the Browning Hipower handgun by the R.P.D., the uniformed police of Raccoon City were armed with .357/.38 Special revolvers. Jack Kendo, father of Robert and Joeseph Kendo, started the trend of working with the R.P.D. prior to the transfer of power and while working with Chief Kamura of the R.P.D.. The weapon is more or less a modified Smith and Wesson revolver, made of stainless steel and fit to meet the needs of the Raccoon City Police Department till they were mostly phased out by the aforementioned Browning HP.

This variant was and still is a preferred backup gun for the R.P.D. Detective's and other police officers as a small, ankle strap .38 Chief's Special style revolver.

The revolvers still circulate the city via Kendo Gunshop, MacLead's, and some still reside in the R.P.D. by diehards within the Station's force.
