Linked to Flower Street, this area is composed of many parked police cars scattered around the parking lot. A gate leads out to the Flower Street Shopping District, leading to the uptown portion of Raccoon. A storage shed faces the left side of the lot, a booth faces the shed on the other side of the lot.

There is a shutter in this area, which leads down to the Parking Ramp of the Underground Parking Lot.

"Get a move on Sargent, we'll need every officer we can get our hands on." Cahill remarks, before turning to one of the other officers. "Cameron, go get Sargent Kamura, she lives just outside Raccoon, here," he says scribbling her address, having remembered it since it was yesterday when Ben Winters suggested they move Sam into the SWAT unit. He hands the officer the address and the young man leaves. "Darren, Dorian, Arthur, Raymond, Elliott, Andy and Eddie, I need boots in the field now! Get out on patrol and figure what the hell is going on out there! If it looks bad, prepare a full evacuation order to any of the city's refuges. I need a team over by the Stadium on the double, we need to get a hold of the Mayor and the Chief before they fall into whatever the hell is going on out there!" He ordered, and the officers began to scatter. He turned to the Senior Deputy and motioned him to come along. "I'm sorry about your deputies, we'll start a full search as soon as we secure whatever the hell is going on in Raccoon, Wheeler." Cahill promised, opening the door to the main hall.

Red and blues began flashing as several squad cars and two of the SWAT vehicles rolled out of the back parking lot of the station and from the underground shutter which had been pried open by the officers moments before, and held in place with forklifts. The black and white Crown Victorias took the streets of Raccoon City and began to speed off in a variety of directions, to establish some sort of effort to reduce the city's overall panic that was starting to bubble. Several vehicles began to head to St. Michael's Stadium, others towards some of the local bars and hangout places.

(from the underground Garage)

-and was relieved to see the shutter was positioned up! However, as he got to street level, he saw that the gate leading out to Flower Street was closed! "DAMN!" He pounds the dashboard, undoing his belt, idling the vehicle in the parked position so he could quickly get back on the road when he returned. He swung open the door to his vehicle, and ran over to the security booth. It was odd... no one was manning it, yet the gate was closed. It didn't matter, he had to hurry- who knew how bad the situation in the city itself was? He was wasting precious time!

He hastily opens the fuse box containing the automatic gate release, pulling the lever down to 'open'. Outside the security booth, the gates hummed to life, slowly inching their way open. He stood there, anxiously waiting till the gate was just a little more wide enough for him to slip through before he pushed the lever back to the 'close' position. He felt a dull jolt of electricity numb his shaky hand, hissing and shaking his left hand as he rushes back to the vehicle. He hadn't seen one of these crazed people yet, but if they were out there he didn't want them slipping through the back door while he was out! He lunged back into the vehicle, and slammed the door, cared not for his seat belt, put the squad car back into drive and then peeled out from the gate as it was slowly crawling back into position! Sparks skidded against the left side of the vehicle as he scraped the side of the gate upon exit, tires squealing, red and blues flashing above as he turned left onto Flower Street's shopping district, needing to take a right up ahead on central to head into Uptown where Raccoon General was located!

Without notice to Scott as he peeled away from the back lot, the gate continued to crawl to a close... but then slowed more dramatically. The rotor in the gate made a loud buzzing sound as blue arcs of electricity formed around the casing before- BOOM!

Smoke erupted from the rotor, and the gate came to a complete halt. There was a big, car width gap between the steel gate and the brick enclosure. The loud 'boom' further drew the attention from virus carriers who had been lured in by Scott's siren and flashing red and blue lights.

Slowly... the small group of zombies, numbering five as a whole made up of former business and blue collar workers, scuttled their way into the unprotected parking lot... the garage's shutters to the basement were still open...

Police Backyard/North Parking Lot Empty Re: Police Backyard/North Parking Lot

(from the old man's shop)

As one of the infected hobbled its way to the gap in the fence, a pair of delicate hands reached out, grabbing the sooty collar of the creature and with impressive strength, the former human was sent flailing back into the road! The Asian didn't bother shooting it as she got close to another slipping through the fence. "Seems like security," she began, shouldering into the creature, knocking it back before swinging out with her gun, smacking the infected female civilian across the face with the handgun! "is a bit light!" She grunts, smacking the butt of her pistol into the woman's forehead now, bringing a foot up to the zombie's chest, her orange and white sweater dress hiking up slightly, before pushing out with full force! The zombie woman was forced against the wall of the station, slumping onto her decomposing ass. This was her first time actually seeing a real human infected with the virus. It was unnerving, how human they still looked...

She swung her long dark hair over her shoulder with the toss of her head, her underframed glasses glinting in the florescent lighting from the nearby security shack. Readjusting her dress, Cathy continued deeper into the station's parking lot. She cared not for the state of the gate, to be frank the commotion from the zombies infiltrating the station would make her infiltration go a lot smoother. There were other spies in the city, so she was concerned with countering their interactions. She needed to get in touch with the sprinkled out Unicorn Unit, though she needed proper supplies and information and the best place for that was gathering it from the police station. The S.T.A.R.S. have military grade radio equipment which could prove useful to her in reaching out to other members from Unicorn.

She looked at her options now, standing in the middle of the parking lot. She could head down into the garage... hide out in the basement level of the station, or hide out in the storage shack to her left. She decided to head into basement after some deliberation. The infected would follow her scent and likely amble after her, but she could easily avoid and outrun them like she had already. They were as she said, an asset of sorts.

Her white summer pumps clicked as she descends the underground parking ramp to the basement below...

Police Backyard/North Parking Lot Empty Re: Police Backyard/North Parking Lot

The drive over to the police station was uneventful to say the least. Although she did get a few small laughs in at the content on the radio "They crazy" she said to herself as she steered the car down the ramp into the garage. Once she reached a parking spot next to a pillar she put the car in park and shut off the engine before opening the door to get out of the black leather driver seat. taking her keys with her, she bumped the door closed with her hip before moving to the back of the car. her heels clicking on the concrete, echoing with each step as she unlocked the trunk to get her duffel bag out.
